MGM - Backlot Tour or Little Mermaid?

Which would you choose? Time does not permit us to see both...even with a FP to Mermaid. Members of our party include me, DH, DD5, DN12, DBIL, and DMIL.

Do any of your girls love the Little Mermaid? My DD who is 4 made us go to LMM 3 times while were there last year, it was one of her favorite attractions. We are going back this September and she has already mentioned LMM to me. We never had a chance to do the backlot tour probably because we spent so much time on LMM.

I vote for Little Mermaid. While not a must-see for us, we enjoy it. Backlot seems like a waste of time.

Little Mermaid gets my vote. Since they took the Hunchback show away, this one is my favorite show - a fun blend of live singing, puppetry, and other special effects make this show one of our favorite things about MGM.

I would definately go Mermaid! we have done both and to tell you the truth I have been really disappointed in the Backlot tour. The Little Mermaid on the other hand was wonderful! it's not only a nice little show but it can be nice and cool on a hot day. We truely enjoyed the show though and it was not as "kiddy" (forgive me) as we thought it was going to be. Have lots of fun no matter what you choose!

Thanks everyone! Wow, SnwflkCts...I never even THOUGHT of splitting up! What a great idea! DD5, Niece12, DMIL who is 78 and LOVES shows, and I can do Mermaid while DH and DBIL (who is into the "movie" stuff) can do Backlot!
