this is our second trip to disney, we went two years ago. We missed Epcot and MGM last time.
Can anyone give us some must sees, I have 2 boys ages 8 and 6. :cool1:

In Epcot- Soarin', don't miss it. And I love Maelstrom in Norway as do my nephews. It doesn't get the play of TT and MS because it's smaller but it's still fun.

Welcome!! :goodvibes
At MGM: Fantasmic is a great show for them to see. Star Tours, Muppets, GMR. We haven't seen it yet but the new stunt show. We're hoping to catch it this time. Depending how they are about rides, TOT and RnR or child swap, they're fun!! :thumbsup2
We've had lunch at Sci-Fi, my kids loved sitting in the cars.
Epcot: The Sea,The Land, Figmenty...Soarin', Test track, just checking out all the countries. They have the kidcot stations too where the kids decorate in each country. You can buy them "passports" too and the CM's sign their passport in each country at the kidcot stations. Illuminations at night...there's so much for them to do!!
You can eat around the world. Last time we had fish n chips in UK and dessert in France. My kids LOVE dessert in Fr.
Enjoy!!!!!

Don't miss Illuminations! If you're into great vocal talent, check out Voices of Liberty at Epcot's 'American Adventure'. At MGM spend some time in 'One Man's Dream.'

Do miss turtle Talk with Crush. You have to inside of the Living Seas. Located inside. We don't have chidlren and still find very cute interesting. :thumbsup2

In Epcot don't miss out on the countries, and look out for their outside shows,Romeo & Juliet...very funny

At MGM there are so many little things that make that park so great. Click here for a great website with great tips. My favorites are TOT, RNR, and the stunt car show, very fun. I never miss Beauty and the Beast on stage or the Muppets. As for food, Sci Fi (as stated earlier) and Primetime Diner are a kick, especially with kids. If you don't mind interaction with your server, Primetime can be fun. They tell you to keep you elbows off the table and eat all your peas. If you don't, you might have to stand in the corner :rotfl2: !

In Epcot, my new favorite is Soarin', but it's also everyone elses new favorite, so get a fastpass early. Crush in the Living Seas is very fun. We also go w/o children, and still love it. Mission:Space and Test Track rank are definately must-sees, but read about them to make sure you can handle it. There's the refurbished Club Cool (used to be Ice Station Cool) where you can try Coke products from around the world, for free!!! Try the Beverly, it's great.

In World Showcase, my favorites are all the shows. I love Off Kilter, a celtic rock band in Canada. While you're there, eat at Le Cellier, yummy! The World Showcase players perform in UK and Italy (I think), if you like Monty Python type acting, don't miss this. But beware, there is audience participation! I love France, from the film to the perfume to the performers and then the bakery! Again, yummy. You can take a tour on Morrocco, just ask a castmember, very interesting. Norway has my favorite perfume, Laila, and they also have Maelstrom. Not too daring, but fun all the same. Really, each country has so much to offer, just take your time. Kids can really enjoy it if they get the passports or make a mask at the kidcot stations. The castmembers love talking about their country and will even teach a word or two of their native tongue. Have your boys learn "hello" or "good-bye" from each country.

Well, as you can see, I love Epcot. I hope you do too!

We LOVE LOVE LOVE MGM! It's a great park. Fantasmic is an amazing show that your boys will definately love. It's all my husband could talk about when we got home! Don't miss the Muppets and the Great Movie Ride. Star Wars makes me a little sick so we skipped it this year. The new stunt show is pretty neat also. Check out the animation show. We enjoyed it throughly. For the older kids, Tower of Terror and Rockin Roller Coaster are not to be missed.
Epcot is a great educational park. I would definately go around and introduce my kids to all of the countries. We were excited to see Figment back so definately catch that. It may not be the most favorite ride, but we never miss Living with the Land. We come froma farming family so it's important that we show our kids some farming at Disney..plus it's really a great relaxing ride! Your kids will probably like Test Track. Although, I think it is highly overrated.
Hope this helps.

If I can give you one tip for the Studios, it's to see the Muppetvision preshow in it's entirety. It's really quite funny.

I haven't been to Epcot w/my kids yet so I can't offer advice there. But we took our DD8 and DS4 to MGM last March. They loved this park and can't wait to go back again. Your sons will love Star Tours, Muppetvision, the Backlot Tour, Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground, Indiana Jones and Tower of Terror. My DD didn't do ToT but my DS did. He absolutely loved it and has talked his big sister into going on it during our next trip. We ate at the Sci-Fi Theatre and they thought that was totally cool. And of course, don't forget Fantasmic. :smickey:

Check out Innoventions in EPCOT. They had an area my kids loved this last trip. You learned about plastics and recycling and then got to make your own plastic robot to take home.

The kids loved Soarin' on our trip in January. DS age 6, loves Test Track, while DD age 10 has always loved Spaceship Earth.

Check out the garden railroad in the Germany pavillion. DS would stand there for hours if we let him.

Illuminations is the best! We try to catch it at least 2 or 3 times on each trip.

For restaurants our kids like the Coral Reef, Biergarten, and Alfredo's.

The Studios aren't DD's favorite park, she won't try TOT, and wasn't thrilled with Rock 'n' Roller Coaster. DS on the other hand loves both. He also loved the new Stunt show.

DD does like going to the Sci Fi for lunch! She thinks it's cool to sit in the cars while you eat.

Try the Animation building...you get the chance to draw your own character. My kids think this is a lot of fun, plus it makes a great souvenir.

Illuminations.. as many times as you can (I would)

KIDcot is great for children. My son loved it. Give little once time to enjoy this. I loved doing this with my son...

2 boys... you got to do Mission Space. (if they're up to it, every child is different)... My son LOVES this ride. His favorite (and he is 6)

and so much more to enjoy....

at MGM

Fantasmic. but plan to have some snacks and games while waiting. We where 1 hour before the show started and did snack there for dinner time and made sure my son had some games to play (Book, small Disney game...)

Whatever the choice... Enjoy :thumbsup2
