We have a 6 and 4yo and are going to WDW in mid-May. They are not at all daring as far as rides are concerned. My 4yo is over 40inches. Do you think either MGM or AK will take a full day. We do plan on seeing Fantasmic at MGM.

Dinoland in AK is made for little kids but they're small rides like the teacups or dumbo in dinosaur theme. MGM does have some great tame rides as well like the Great Movie Ride and Muppet Vision 3D is excelent. I would say MGM only because Animal Kingdom has mostly walking trails and most of their good attractions are scarey for little kids(Dinosaur and It's tough to be a bug). Plus you will have more fun with them at MGM. If you have a park hopper I would at least try and see Kilimanjaro Safari's at AK.

I think that you could easily spend a whole day at each even if you skip all the slightly scary rides.

AK has the BEST shows except 1, Tarzan (my fav), Festival of The Lion King, and Bugs Life. The Safari is the BEST. Then Pagani forst trail, Planet Watch, and Dino Land should round it out. They will like this parade too, a lot of fun and if you hang outside the enterance to the store by the Safaris you can get a good seat with no waiting.

MK you'll want to go on Pooh, Peter Pan (they say it might be scary, nothing is except it's dark, really nothing- I'm a whimp), small world, Dumbo, Flying carpets, Jungle Cruise, tea cups, carousel, Buzz Lightyear (multiple times), Tom Sawyer, see the awesome Mickey's Philharmagic and Cindercellebration...have a blast!
