It would appear that the Boardwalk is the only DVC that has a line item on the budget called "sales tax on support facilities". The amount is $443,846. AKV does not have this line item and it is a DVC resort attached to normal resort. The description states "State sales tax paid on the Condominuim's share of costs incurred in connection with the operation or maintenance of the Support Facilities in accordance with the Master Declaration of Convenants Conditions and Restrictions encumbering the Condominium property" Any ideas why?

do you think it mean the old sales area that was finally converted to units and sold?

or maybe community hall?

AKV does not have a community hall - yet.

Is there a corresponding entry on the "Income" side for "Support Facilities" ?

It sounds as though this may be explained in the BWV POS for the condominium property. It might also be a good question for someone to ask at the Annual Meeting during the Member's meeting in a couple of weeks. The Board treasurer can certainly explain the costs.
