Mexico Lindo 10/23/2011 MR Cruise!!!

The Disney ship tenders very close to the arch! We woke up to it right outside our verandah. Very easy to take pictures from the ship. I heard the beach isn't swimmable. For us it would be hard to taxi there and not want to get out. Taking pictures from the ship was fine. I think I posted one we took from the ship. I'll look for it.

THANKS !!! Thats what I was thinking.. we are going to do a day pass at the resort one day and just shopping in town the other day... and hopefully we get really good pics of the arch from the boat.. that seems to be the consensus

On a different subject...since you live in SOCal...maybe you can help me. We are flying into LAX on Friday. What are the essential things to do when you only have a day and a half. We are staying over by the port and renting a car so we can get around easily. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks..Lolaleigh

There are a ton of options just depends how much you want to drive. Nothing is close in L.A. and there will always be traffic to get from one place to another. Here are my suggestions: Queen Mary or Long Beach Aquarium (very close), Downtown Disney (a little bit of a drive from port), Huntington Beach is fun for the surf culture, Hollywood Blvd./Grauman's Chinese Theater (a drive as well). The Grove (outdoor shopping mall) and Los Angeles Farmer's Market (Third & Fairfax) is fun.

I feel like a kid in the backseat of the car... are we there yet, are we there yet! Only a couple weeks away!

Welcome aboard!! Our last cruise we booked last minute. The FE was already closed. But almost everyone added us to their list. This is our 5th cruise but only 2nd one with the kid and second FE. It was so much fun last time! I propose do what we did last time. Folks can add your family to their list if they can. Tara? What does everyone think?
