Yeah! I made our excursion reservations.![]()
![]()
We are going to go snorkeling in Cabo and to Las Caletas in PV. In Mazatlan we are going to go horseback riding with Randi (not a DCL excursion, but if you like riding I can highly recommend this one; we did it on a previous cruise).
I couldn't make any brunch or high tea reservations at Palo - is there a chance there will be some spaces if I try once we get on the ship?
Laura - thanks for all the information you posted. Have a great time on your cruise!![]()
Yes - there is always a few spots left open but make sure that you beeline it to Palos on embarkation day to get the next best spots available. And if by some crazy chance there isn't - ask to be put on a waiting list - they always have openings.
Robin - can you add me to the FE list? LOL - I will give you the staterooms later - right now - I have got to get to bed. I will be some ugly lady come a few hours from now!

So all of you let me know who to add. I am on the DIS everyday ( yes I have no life) so can keep track for you all.
Laura--thank you for the update....newbie!
with out her at some point
But she's excited! Anyone else have a young teen?
) I remember going around and introducing ourselves by our screen name...only to have everyone make a collective "aaahh" type response when we all made the rounds. I do hope we can do that again - it made for such a nice week whenever we would bump into another DIS board member during the cruise! I will email you soon to get a copy of the sign, right now I am not on "my" computer...it would be lovely to get that, thank you so much
My DD is a bit younger, as she is turning 11 the day we get on the ship. My DS is only 8. Hopefully the girls will be able to meet and chat, even though mine will still be in the Lab. Randi is a hoot and everyone she works with was so kind! I always described the ride to others as this once in a lifetime type event...riding through these beautiful coconut groves, along the water, etc. To do this again is just wonderful. Little story...when we went last time, you know how they take your camera for a family picture on the beach near the middle of the ride? Well, I loved our photo so much that I decided to have it made into an 8x10 to frame at home. I got it back and had it all finished when my DD called by attention to a not so little overlooked detail. My sweet little family - happy, smiley family of four - all on our horses on the beach.....and my DD says "oooh, what's that under your horse, mom?" Well, my horse is relieving itself, significantly as it is a significant horse, um, and this has been captured midway through the process on film
to Cindy for keeping page one up-to-date for all of us You go girl!

Have to go sightseeing at the ports, It's not that bad. My wife and I went on this cruise in 2005 and that was our first cruise ever and into Mexico. The Taxi drivers that take you into the towns are really reasonable (somewhat cheap). My wife (unfortunately) found the jewelery marts in each port. (Don't you start with me Laura!)
Guilty as charged. That was us!
by its late here - so got one more stop to check and then I can finally lay down this old, tired carcass!
We have nothing booked for Mazatlan and I plan to stay on the ship and enjoy a less crowded day but, would like to run off for some quick shopping.
