Where can I get info on excursions available on the summer 2005 Mexican Riviera cruises?

TIA
Kelley

Disney has not published this information yet. You can get an idea by checking the websites of other cruise lines who do this cruise.

Have you tried shoretrips.com? I booked a Western Excursion through them and they were a great company. I found out about them on this board. I was very happy with their service.

So far, DCL has not added Mexican Riviera shore excursions to http://disneycruise.disney.go.com/

But, as webray wrote, you should be able to get a pretty good idea of what might be offered by looking at the Mexcan Riviera excursions offered by other lines. In fact, DCL is likely to use many of the same tour operators.

Here's what is offered by Carnival Cruise Lines:

Mazatlan: http://www.carnival.com/ShoreExcurs...ion=MR&portcode=MZT&portname=Mazatlan,+Mexico

Puerto Vallarta: http://www.carnival.com/ShoreExcurs...portcode=PVR&portname=Puerto+Vallarta,+Mexico

Cabo San Lucas: http://www.carnival.com/ShoreExcurs...&portcode=CSL&portname=Cabo+San+Lucas,+Mexico

I took the Mexican Riviera itinerary (in reverse) on Royal Caribbean (Vision of the Seas) in March. You might want to check their site.

I did whale watching in Cabo San Lucas but you won't be going in whale season.

I also whale watched in Puerto Vallarta, but I booked that on my own once on shore.

Mazatlan was mostly shopping. I also booked a shopping tour from the port...I didn't want to shop...I wanted to walk around but the port is far from anything else and it gets REALLY annoying having at least 20 taxis ask you if you need a ride while you are trying to walk. I ended up turning around and booking a $15 3-hour trolley tour that was mostly shopping but some sites, too.

Do we know what the ports are at this point? Will there be a DCL island like CC?

When my husband and I did the Mexican Riviera on Princess a couple of years ago we did in Puerta Vallarta a ship's tour to Las Caletas which was a private beach with lunch and drinks included and snorkeling, kayaking and hiking available(included). In Mazatlan we did Randi's Happy Horses. She operates a private horseback ride in you ride through a coconut grove and down a beautiful beach where you can swim, eat and they had rentals available I believe. In Cabo we did the whale watching but this will be the wrong time of year to see them. I think whale watching season ends in early spring. Let me know if you have any ?? about these excursions.
