My BFF and I will soon be able to book our Mexican Riviera excursions for Cabo, PV, and Mazatlan. I typically use 3rd party excursion providers but she would like to stick with DCL as its just the two of us. Looking for any excursions through DCL in the Mexican Riviera that you would recommend!

I have only been to Cabo out of those ports and did the Harbor cruise and scenic tour I think it was called. About an hour harbor cruise including to Los arcos and then a bus ride to a glass blowing factory, and a scenic overview. The guide on the bus was real good and gave a lot of info about the area.

We did Chileno Bay Snorkeling in Cabo and really enjoyed it, lots of fish to see. You also get a bit of a harbor tour as they sail over.

Unfortunately that is the only port I’ve been to as well. Our Riveria cruise got changed to Cabo only with the pandemic. They don’t do the other ports very often. I have heard good things about Las Caletas in Puerto Vallerta but haven’t experienced it.

We went to Las Caletas in PV via DCL in 2019. I don't know what the excursion was called specifically, but we took a boat ride with the group to the island. We found a hammock near the ocean and relaxed. Had opportunity to snorkel with a guide, had a cooking demonstration, and lunch on the island. We really enjoyed it! Not sure if all of the same offerings are there now in the 'aftertimes' but it may be worth finding out.
In Cabo, we did a private whale watching tour, but it was on the margin of whale season (March), so I think we saw one whale spout. But had a nice relaxing boat ride.

Both Cabo and PV are very easy walking towns. If you’re not interested in hiking or other higher energy excursions you can walk around easily. Cabo is a very modern town, not all that interesting but has some nice shops. I don’t know the excursions that Disney offers but if yiu want to see some Of the countryside outside of Cabo you could go to Todos Santos, about 45 min drive. It’s a lovely little town and has the original Hotel California Which is a great place for lunch.
Puerto Vallarta has a wonderful old town feel if yiu get to the old harbor area called the Mallacon. You can easily take a taxi there. Or even a public bus. there is a gorgeous church there. And lots of restaurants and shops, particularly along the River Walk.

we are going to PV for 10 days at the end of October. It is a wonderful place with charming people and excellent restaurants. All across Mexico there is some concern about the cartels so it’s wise to stay in well populated areas, avoid flashy jewelry and carrying lots of money and try not to act like a tourist.
