Mexican Riviera Cruise April 3, 2011

I'd say the weather here has been quite wacky these last few months, I can't wait to get to warmer weather.

Today it was shorts weather, but it cools off in the evening. Right now it's 60 at 7:00. We are a 3 miles from the ocean, so we usually get fog and cold in the evening.

Had to have a drink tonight...well we are almost on vacation

I think I have found a drinking buddy

Answers:

1 - 9:30am is a stretch. I would recommend you opt to haul your own luggage off and so you don’t have to wait. Just be ready on deck 3 midship at 8:30 and when the gangway opens, just walk off. You must have all your own luggage with you. If you have an early flight, and can prove it, guest services will give you priority. Still, walking with your own gets you off way earlier.

2 - The wine selection in the grocery store in PV (named SS, which is outside the terminal to the right) is excellent. Rows and rows. Again, avoid Walmart

Hey - just my personal opinion that when in Rome, do as the Romans. When in Mexico, try to experience Mexico. Walmart is a cookie cutter American big box retailer. Think outside the bun.

Hi everyone! We r very excited to be leaving this Sunday, April 3rd. Not sure how the fish extender works but we're making one and bringing little gifts for extenders we see. Since it's our 1st cruise and we are unfamiliar with the FE, we figure we will leave little surprises from Mickey in it.

So if you have some extra goodies to share, that would make her trip. Mouseketeermom DS is celebrating his 11th B-Day on board. I have some extra pixie dust that I will be spreading around to the others as well. I hope everyone has a safe trip and I can not wait to meet everyone. Thank you for all the great tips and I made reservations for the Palo...I do have a question about the prices on Palo dining.

1. It mentioned that it's $20/person which we're ok with. Is there any additional expenses other than tips for the food/entrees? I was not sure if the $20/person fee was just to get in the door and the food price was separate. Thanks.

Sorry to barge in on your meet thread, but wondering if someone on this cruise can do me a HUGE favour????

I am surprising my daughter on her 15th birthday on May 2nd with the news she is going on the Aug 30th wonder cruise.

I want to 'trick' her into opening a few small presents and have her think that is it, but then after dinner her cake is going to be DCL themed.

I heard they have these great little bathtub type toy cruise ships for under $5 in Mickeys Mates, and I was hoping that someone could buy one and mail it to me? I live in Canada (near Vancouver) and am more than happy to paypal you today for the cost of the toy and shipping.

It was suggested on this thread that especially those of us on the Wonder recognize this candle lighting on the ship. We have a battery operated candle and we will be turning it on in our cabin.
