Mexican restaurants near DLR?

I'm not sure if it is still there, and since you have a car, you might love the Stanton Mexicatessen. It's been a long time but if I remember right it's on Cerritos street. Very hole in the wall.

Mexicatessen is still there, but Mexi-Casa on Lincoln is gone, unless it has relocated.

That was a great restaurant. I recall them having really good menudo.

I always had lunch at Taqueria Mexico on the corner of Katella and Glassell in Orange. Open 24 hours and none of the staff speak English. Best tacos in the county.

Then there's Azteca on "Historic Main Street" in Garden Grove. Wall-to-wall Elvis memorabilia - a must see for Elvis fans.
