mexican restaurant - lowfat, lowsodium?

People at work are taking my boss out for dinner/drinks one night during her last wk of work. Already decided Im having a diet coke (saving my drinks till I get onboard ship) but what should I order to eat?
Looking for lowfat, low sodium ideas please
Looked on fitday for tortillas w/grilled chicken, pepper, onion - didnt see it - what should I be looking for? Fajitas seem no better than a taco salad

Watch the chips.......they are usually salty.

We have a fabulous hole in the wall type mexican restaurant. It's an authentic gourmet type place where they make everything fresh. Absolutely fabulous.

I order a veggie burro, tons of fresh veggies wrapped in a tortilla, with some cheese and fresh salsa and a tad of guacamole on top. I add a side of refried beans. (basically they are just cooked black beans as they make everything fresh there). Oh my is it good.

You could do fajita's, just watch what you put on it. You build it yourself.

Corn tortillas are low fat too, actually lower than flour. Its what is inside that matters.

If its something that is already put together, ask if they can keep this or that out.

Mexican can be point friendly, load up on the veggies, salsa. Try chicken versus beef, etc.

Is it a chain restaurant?

We have an authentic mexican place near us named Senor Pancho's. They make a Burritos Johnny, which is two flour tortillas, with chicken, peppers and onions with sauce and cheese atop.

I went there on Saturday, had a frozen margarita, 4 chips and salsa, and the Burritos Johnny sans the sauce and cheese. Then for desert, I had coffee with cream.

I lost 5 lbs. at my weigh in today.

I would say I did okay!
