Sounds like fun Terry!!
In my prayers, Stephanie. I worry about Ashton getting some autoimmune something or other, but I really don't know much about all that. Just give it all to Someone who can carry the burden for you(hint, hint

). You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Thanks for the well wishers, the court thing cost me $233

, but it could have been worse right?! My DH said, "honey, just go to court and think about how thankful we are no one was hurt. This is okay". He can be so sweet!!

I was more worried about the cost than anything. He stayed home with the kids.
Anyway, glad there are other kids who LOVE testing!! A bunch of other homeschooled kids are scared of it and have such anxiety. I was more like them, scared, but maybe b/c no one really prepared me for it. I am hoping that DD8 LOVES testing too. I am using Spectrum to show her how it will be(for the most part).
I do not know how schools work it since they have more time constraints with when to give kids lunches and breaks and all, but for our HS association, they do not limit the kids time. 99.9% finish in a specified amount of time, but if they have trouble on a subject, they will allow them to keep going. I am positive they are not breaking any rules, but it just seemed so wierd to allow them more time. DD10 needed an extra 5 minutes last year in math. Her processing speed is slow in math, but she does well.

It is just her. Her PS teachers in K and 1st told me the same thing! Now she reads like a fiend. She eats up books faster than I can get them to her.
See ya!
