When do you get your puppy?

I made one the ADRs online, then I couldn't figure out how to get to the next date. Then I made the rest over the phone. The wait time was over 30 minutes. I guess that's what happens first thing in the morning when you call. I called right at 6am and got off the phone at 7:03am.

Also.. does anyone know anything about booking group reservations? All the sudden I need Chef Mickey's for 12 people (11 if the two year old is not counted) and I read somewhere that it has to be done through group reservations. I am going to call sometime next week to link reservations.

I had several reservations for a party of 12 from our trip last month made through the regular 407-WDW-DINE. It was our trip last year that we had 16 people and they told me that parties of 13 or more had to be made through the Grand Gatherings number. We ate at Chef Mickey in May with 12 of us and I made the reservations myself through the regular number. Good Luck.

I'm DONE!!!1 I felt a twinge of sadness but that passed quickly.

So the puppy story...The five puppies were found abandoned in Baton Rouge earlier this week. My friend's DD and her friends are at the vet school at LSU and one of them found them and took them into the clinic. My friend texted me if I wanted one because she knew I wanted to get a dog when I moved and they were looking for homes for these dogs they found. So...one of them is mine! They are believed to be about 5 weeks old and will grow to about 14 or 15 pounds. They are mixed breed but not sure what yet. They are only about 2 pounds right now.

I had kinda been browsing Petfinder to see what was out there but had quit looking. The next day I got the text. I'll pick her up probably sometime the week of the 6th. By the way Kathy....she watched the LSU game the other day when they won the Championship.

hey ya'll-it's official, we are going to Houston. The other job fell through-they hired an internal employee, but told Paul they really liked him and blah blah blah blah.... so we told them to keep us in mind in about , ummmm, 2 years!

Sheryl, I haven't had a bit of time(just getting home from 7:30 am) to call but I most certainly will be calling you this week, if not this weekend.

I worked all day then our whole family went to help with the Sleeping Beauty set for the drama camp play. It is soooo pretty! I will take pics. Still haven't found the camera charger. I guess I'll be pulling out the old video camera and using our phones!

I was told last year that Grand Gatherings were 8 or more.

Oh, and I found the perfect work schedule for us all, if only our pocketbooks and Disney obsessions liked it too-1 day every 2 weeks is just about perfect!I haven't been that happy at work in ages and it was due to NOT being there. It gave me a whole new perspective...if only.....

You got some good ones! I STILL have yet to eat at Le Cellier despite something like 7 trips to WDW. (Actually maybe I ate there a long time ago and don't remember....) One of our WDW traditions is to eat at Garden Grill. We have eaten there on all 4 family trips to WDW. I love that house in the one scene. I want one like it with a nice porch. Kona Cafe...what meal are you eating there? That's another one of our "gotta eat there" places but we always do breakfast (blame my dad for that one).

You're making me hungry too...I'm sitting here eating a microwaved McDonald's cheeseburger left over from my dinner last night.

As soon as I'm done eating I'm going to clean and finish packing. I'm so sore from moving boxes and furniture yesterday. OMG I'm going to be like mush soon!

Thanks, and yes, we feel relief-now we have some direction and even though we are off the wild tea cup ride, we are about to get on a roller coaster-hopefully one mild like Goofy's Barn Stormer.

I am sore all over too Bethany-painting and sewing and putting chairs out,seperating and labeling costumes, and pushing a 500 pound machine around for a couple hours yesterday-my back aches and I am feeling OLD and out of shape.

Aleve and sitting and watching the play today! yay!

I was excited to get it. Now I have to decide between the filet and the NYstrip. What to do??

We really liked it there last year. I love doing the "fancier" places, but we left garden grill absolutely STUFFED last year, it was just SO good. Tony specifically asked to go back. And the characters are so fun. Mickey tried to steal my chocolate milk.

We'll be there for dinner. Tony wants to try the pomegranite pork chop, and I'll be having the prime rib. (I can't get the NY strip b/c teriyaki makes me vomit )

Jamie...DUH get one of each....there are two of you eating there, right? Order two and split them both. Problem solved.

OMG I thought I was hungry this morning but it's got nothing on right now. It's 5:51pm and all I've had to eat today was that horrid microwaved cheeseburger (they're bad enough "fresh"), 4 McNuggets, some French Fries, and some Doritos.

The puppy is a girl...I've gotten all sorts of name suggestions for her.
Tigger, Piglet, Beignet, Coffee, Chicory, Latte, Bourbon, Burgundy, Calliope, Tchoupitoulas , Noel, Jazz, Bugsy, Nola, Gumbo, Roux, Sassagoula, Voodoo (my mother would faint ), Lilo, Belle, Bronx, Stella (it passes the "holler test" ) and a few others. Lots of choices...only one dog!

Okay we are FINALLY going to go eat, then return the rental car. As much as I sometimes wished I had a car, I am SO GLAD to be returning this thing.

My friend just got back from a cute cabin in tennessee-I will ask her for you- I know she found it on VRBO and it was under $100 per night.
