Hey friends,
MARY, I'm sending love & prayers for you today! I really hope the procedure isn't painful at all!! I hope you will be able to check in & let us know how you are doing! Please call me if you need anything, I MEAN THAT!!!!
BETHANY, WELCOME HOME CHER!!!!

You are no longer a "psuedo-official" NOLA girl, you are now the real thing! We are so happy to have you living here, contributing to our schools & economy. Thanks for believing we are not all "dead people" and that this is a GREAT place to live!
Kat, I'm so sorry I missed your post yesterday!

I'm sad that things are going bad for you. Please call me when you're feeling like this.
Hopefully orientation isn't going to freak you out & but give you excitement for your boy's new experiences. I know it's a BIG school, but I PROMISE Kyle is going to find these next few years to be and I quote not only my daughter but all of friends that went there "LSU was the BEST time of my life!".
Kristina, I'm also sad that work is so bad! As we talked about before I've heard about it from our LRS counselor & I know you are really overworked!!

I'm sorry and I will pray for guidance &

light in your life!
Lori, I hate to tell you to google home staging, because just reading about it practically gave me heart palpitations! I don't know if real people actually do all of that work, but I think pretty much emptying out the house of clutter, furniture that crowds rooms is probably something you'll need to do.

Lorie, Tell Todd I'm going to come smack him on the head with that camera!!!!

I've been hoping to see some more pics of that pretty boy! Have you posted any on FB & I've missed them. I know you are tired & stressed but please give me at least on new pic.

"But not if it's really too hard, I don't want to work Mama anymore than neccesary!"
Jamie, I honestly don't think we've ever had happy squeals on here before!!!

That's wonderful that you have your friend with you! Enjoy! I hope the lump on Jezzie is nothing to worry about!
Jamie's squeals reminded me of a strange but fun thing that happened on Sat. My DD Angelina went up to Seattle for one of her best friend's wedding. She had called me to tell me the weather was nice & she had just returned from Pike Market & how cool it was. She said she was waiting for her friend Tessa & her sister to come pick up her & her friend Michelle that went with her.
Well a little while later my phone rings, it's Angelina's phone but obviously it was her purse dialing. I then heard the loudest GIRLIE SQUEALS, SCREECHES & GIGGLES you've ever heard! Tessa had just arrived and the excitement was unbelievable! It was so neat to be the proverbial fly on the wall!!!

To get to hear my daughter's happiness was sweet & made me all teary-eyed.

Ladies, you can see that no matter how old they are, you never stop being a Mom!
Now to the not so great news. My dr. wanted me to have carpal tunnel surgery done on my left hand while underging the neck surgery. Bob & I have decided not to do that. We think things will be hard enough for 6-8 weeks, I don't need to lose the use of one hand too.
We also learned there are problems with the aide situation again. I think I mentioned that we have a girl that is great but is pregnant & due Aug 27th. The agency had 3 others we were supposed to meet this week. Well our aide Miranda told us last night that the 3 is now down to one. And that one only wants weekdays. Which means once Miranda has to stop we won't have anyone. And that's if this new one works out at all. But really I'm not too upset about it.

Don't know why too much else to get done now I guess.
Hope everyone has a good day! I might take A to the aquarium later today. Chris renewed her membership. So I won't feel bad about just going for a little while.
