Flora and shovan - good luck with those surgeries. I'm in surgery all the time and I stil get nervous. I'm wishing good, calming thoughts for ya'll.

Good news for Jezzie. PHEW. Her bump is a follicular cyst. In simple terms, a clogged hair follicle. Kinda similar to a pimple. At this point we will just monitor closely.

hey ya'll - didn't say I was going away...just sometimes I forget to check in or say anything

good news - refi is in underwriting, so supposedly this means it is just a few weeks to close. called my insurance co and they changed payments from 4 months on/2 months off to 6 months which lowered the payments

and I got my PPR review today - 4.5 out of 5 - highest I have ever had I think. raise starts 7/15...will almost bring me back to what I was making before insurance was raised at work. if the refi goes through I might be able to make the bills. husband is stressing but God is faithful and we are getting calls for jobs....

bad news - Jeff was backing out at a gas station and hit a military car. dented my other car. not bad enough to warrant fixing but insurance just went up from my pole incident...sigh. came home with another migraine...

good new - Bethany is here and now has a car! yay!

praying for you Mary and Sheryl - wish I could take off of work to just be there for you but will be praying while you have your procedures. also praying for skill for your doctors and that all will go smoothly with no complications.

jfw - so lucky going to WDW twice! I am in a funk cause I want to go, but I MUST curb my spending......and get out of this debt.

can't wait to hopefully see everyone 7/11! we need to get together - I need my Disgal fix!

Not much to report. I am very boring lately. I won't complain about it though or that will change and possibly not for the better.

I will comment of how proud I am of Bethany who is officially completely independent after only 24 hours in NOLA.. (apartment and car)... my head is still spinning woo hoo on the laundry at home too!

Thanks for all the good thoughts my friends. I'm just a bit overwhelmed after info overload at yesterday's orientation. It's such a huge school and I'm afraid Kyle may be swallowed up as he's not the type to ask for help or question anything. He has another day of orientation today so he stayed in BR last night with a friend. He had to call AAA, his car wouldn't start when he went to leave campus. LSU is having trouble recognizing some of his courses he took at Delgado, I'm praying he gets this cleared up today.

Bethany - Happy to hear you're settled in and glad you got the car, things are falling right into place for you!

Mary, I'm wondering how you are doing? I hope you're well.

Bethany, Way to go! I really believe you are going to be a much, much happier lady down here.

Kat, I know LSU is big & scary, but Kyle is really going to be fine! I'm telling you, he can, he will & he'll love doing it all! When Angelina 1st visited the school, she was scared silly & had decided to go elsewhere. Then she went stay with a friend for a couple of days & came her with a totally different impression. Her 1st couple of weeks there was kind of hard for her. Class scheduling, car problems, living in a dorm with strangers, I really thought that she was going to bail. But after a couple of weeks, she really got the hang of it & was enjoying the heck out of "being on her own". I realize telling you not to worry is silly, I know I pratically made myself sick over it. Both of you are really going to be fine.

Lorie, Erik is so beautiful!!! I love his hair! I know you'll get the hang of the new camera really fast! How is Sienna doing? I she getting any more settled with having Erik around?

Jamie, I'm glad Jezzie is okay!

Glad everything worked out.

Well i spent the day home with mom and DH. did not feel like going in to work. I am off tomorrow too.

I just finished playing some Wii games with DD and man do I feel like an old person. She beat me on just about everything. She definatley had an advantage since she plays it more than I. We had fun though.

Kathy, Gosh I remember that! Not just acting like it's no big deal but when you try to tell them about this or that, I heard "It's no biggie, it'll work out." I was like , but Bob would give me that hush up look & when things didn't work out, she call & sound like a little girl again. It darn near drove me crazy, the "I don't need y'all" attitude and then the "Mommy!" By the 2nd semester of her sophomore year, I had a much different daughter. More confident with herself, but also had the realization of all that we had done to help her! Kyle is already very mature & has an appreciation of all that you & Johnny do. His "growing up" will probably be much quicker. Not that it's going to be easy, but it will happen!

I've been busting my bootie to get my house cleaned up. Well Alexis had enough of that today! So I spent the day making easy-bake oven cake, Chef Boyardee pizza (hadn't done that in years!) and swimming.

Good Morning NOLA.

Well yesterday we visited UL and Kelsie just fell in love with that campus. The dorms on the other hand are not very nice and are in dire need of an over haul. They still have hall baths which I had at LSU but that was a really long time ago. They have an on campus apartment type place which is very nice and very expensive (about $1200.00 more per semester than a dorm). Now she's making up pros and cons of the two places we've visited so far. I think we are going to schedule Southern Miss next.

Lorie how's baby Eric doing? Is Sienna adjusting well to her big sis role?

Mary I'm so glad everythng went well for you yesterday. How are you feeling today?

Terry we have a Wii and my kids always win too.
