Ok, I'm new to this. If I decide on a company to haul us to and from WDW, we'll be needing a large van, do I pay for both ways on the first leg, or by the trip? If I chose a company that accepts plastic, can't I just get this out of the way on the way to WDW and show a receipt to get home? Figuring in a 30 min. pit stop on the way to the hotel, what would be a 'standard' tip, to be increased for exceptional help? Thanks for any info offered to a guy who would really rather drive himself.

When taking a towncar, we have paid the roundtrip price to the initial driver. We tip the initial driver and the return trip driver seperately. If you pay the entire fare ahead of time (most should take credit cards), the transportation company should show this on their records. You may want to inquire about the particular policies of any car service you book.

hi Bill,
last year we did this with tiffany for the first time and it worked out great. we had a grocery stop too, and were asked for full round-trip fare when we were dropped at our resort. i was given a receipt showing payment in full. i gave a 10.00 tip which seems to be the normal suggested by others here on the dis. on the return trip, everything was fine, the driver knew we were paid in full and never asked. i gave him a 10.00 tip as well. i paid cash, but i'm sure they would take cc as well. have a great trip.

service to/from Sanford Airport. We paid in full via credit card when our driver got us to POFQ. I then tipped him with cash for a one way trip. We had a different driver for the return trip so I also tipped him. We did not have the same driver both ways even though the first driver said he would be picking us up on our departure day so I would only tip the driver for a one way service.
