Met Chris Daughtry from American Idol last night

We were in our local Harris Teeter store last night getting groceries. We had been talking to friends from church, when DW mentioned we needed hotdog rolls. So DS and I go to the bread isle when I see he and his family over by the magazines. We went back and told DW, who didnt believe me. So I said come and I will show you. We asked for DS an autograph, shook hands and told him how this was our 1st time ever watching AI and appreciated how he represented our area so well.
He was a really nice guy, just like what you see on TV. His wife and kids seemed very nice also. I didnt take more than a minute of his time because I didnt want to draw attn. to him.

My friend who covered the AI finals was less than impressed with him. I was disappointed to hear that he wasn't nice to press or the fans and seemed rather snobby. I'd glad you had a better experience. Hopefully he just had an off night and you met the 'real' Chris.

Very cool. I was in the second row at the Regis & Kelly LIVE show when Chris performed. His wife was standing to the right of the audience in full view and it was also fun to watch her watch him. He talked to the audience between commercials and was very nice.
