messanger bags

After reading the boards here I have visited the web page of IRVS luggage warehouse as I am looking for a bag to wear while in the park and not a fanny pak. My question is do any of the department stores handle these that a person can buy instead of ordering them.. Especially the messanger bag..

Is there a manufacturer in particular you are interested in? I just bought a cool travel purse from Victorinox/Swiss Army called a 'Deluxe Vertical Travel Companion'. I guess it is more of a cross body bag than a messenger. I think they have a list distributors on their site if you want to check it out.

Dickies makes a good line of Messanger bags. I own one myself! They're quite durable and lovely.

You can purchase them at a store called "Zumiez." They have all sorts of solid colours, patterns, corderoy, khaki, pretty much whatever you can imagine!

"Old Navy" has also had fabulous messanger bags on many occasions...and right now is the pUURRfect time for these little totes

I have an orange eddie bauer messenger/laptop bag that I bough specifically for college this summer. It works good for everything. I'ts got 2 large pockets, a smaller pocket for pens and stuff, a small side pocket perfect for gum/chap stick, and it has a waterbottle pocket big enough to hold a nalgene.
