i don't know

i was tempted to dip my sausage into peanut butter today

but then dipped it in chilli sauce instead

Very funny read! :rotfl:

No one said lightly toasted bread spread with peanut butter while toast is still warm and topped with sliced bananas...served open-faced. Yum!

My aunt used to spread butter thickly on white bread and load it up with white sugar and feed it to me as a kid (served open-faced as well), and she would always eat a couple herself (she was in her seventies at the time!) I don't think I could stomach that one now...lol

BTW~ this particular aunt LOVED sugar and butter on everything and indulged freely daily and lived to be ninety-four. Even then, she didn't die from anything that the food contributed to! :confused3

I have to say again that it is pretty funny that this thread bears my name because I have never and never would try any of the disgusting things you people eat!

You people must live with people who dont know how to cook so these foods are actually better than what you are served.

:confused3 I cant figure it out! :confused3

My grandma used to feed me something similar when I was little- peanut butter mixed with honey and topped with sliced bananas on warm bread or toast...

WOW! This was a surprise, have not seen this thread in awhile! :rotfl2:

And at least they spelled your name right! lol

PixieBella is much easier to spell than Bezoar and everytime I see your name I think...have I cleaned the kitty cat box today? :cat:

Okay, so I was reading through this thread thinking...WOW there are some STRONG stomachs in this room!

I apparently do not do anything too out of the ordinary....I have to agree with MissBelle- ketchup is just a bad thing (except maybe in cocktail sauce, but there better be a lot of horseradish!).

DH on the other hand is a notoriously strange eater. He is another in the eat-one-thing-at-a-time club. He always eats his fries first, then burger anywhere we go and the same goes at big dinners.

The only really gross thing I know of that he does is that he eats his cornbread "southern style"....in a glass full of milk with a spoon :earseek: I can't imagine what would posess someone to eat soggy bread. *shudders* His whole family does it!

When i was in the army many moons ago, seeing the world... :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Sorry, where was I?

When i was in the army i got the grand and glorious tours of South Carolina, Alabama, and the Georgia in my 4 years. That corn bread thing still freaks me out when i see it. That and boiled peanuts, although the boiled peanuts really are pretty good. Although to this day you still cant get me to eat grits. :cold:

My condolences on having to watch the cornbread lol. ;)

Boiled peanuts really gross me out, too. They are all weird and slimy....ugh I am so UN-Southern. LOL I don't do grits, I will do cornbread...no milk, no boiled peanuts, greens or anything like that. I do have a fondness for slowcooked BBQ. YUM!

Over the pond in not so sunny England we don't have anything like that. Although I'm sure you would find our food and drink very strange. I have to say that when I was younger I was a very picky eater. I did go through a faze of eating sugar sandwiches, yum, and my personal favourite even today is golden syrup on Ice cream. It goes really hard and chewy. Not sure if it has the same effect with maple syrup as it is thiner than golden syrup.
After reading this thread though I really do have great respect for anyone who could drink that concotion.
:Pinkbounc  :bounce:

i like strawberry sauce with sausages :)

when eating pancakes with sausages and strawberry sauce in a disney hotel for breakfast the sauce went over the sausages as well :teeth:

I don't quite understand the concept behind boiled peanuts. Is that the same as the peanuts that are roasted in a sugary sweet concoction and get sold on the corner for a buck? Those are good. Extremely sweet, but good.

Salty and slimy as they are kept perpetually wet. :faint: Sorry, I still stick to the hot variety sold at the ballpark :)

You know what is good though...are Filipino style boiled peanuts. They're the exception! ;)

OK, I'm saddened. We ran out of sandwich meat/bread/everything to make a normal lunch. So...I had to pack leftover fish for lunch, except the only parts we had left were the the heads. Yea...people didn't really like the sight of me picking at fried trout heads for lunch. ;) I mean...it's still eatable right!
