Message boards for other cruise lines?

My husband and I are thinking of taking a solo cruise "on the cheap" in Jan/Feb. Are there boards similar to this one where I could get more insider information on the ships? So far we are looking at Norwiegian or RCL. I think we have decided to pass on Carnival, unless someone can convince me otherwise. All help would be appreciated!

Try cruisecritic.com Just be warned there are a lot of nice people on that board but there are also a few very snarky ones. I suggest being a "lurker" there for a little while until you get a "lay of the land" so to speak.
Also, I have sailed on both Carnival and RCCL as well as Disney. Each has their own fine points. I think we prefered RCCL a bit over Carnival because it was a little more relaxed and the food quality was better. Hope you have a great trip!

A new board I have heard of is called Travel Mania Forums. They just opened and have lots of knowledgable people and are trying to grow there community.

I have sailed NCL many times... and bigger is not necessarily better- the Majesty (which is 'small' by modern standards) is my favorite ship- especially for an 'on the cheap' vacation... great last minute deals usually- I paid $239 for KW/COZ 4-nights! Food is terrific, and the entire cruise is 'freestyle', meaning resort casual dress all the time, and no set dinner times... (which is terrific!!!). Hope this helps! Any of you who are anti-NCL (I know you're out there somewhere...), I don't want to argue with you... I have never had a bad experience on NCL!
