Merry Mixers

I read that last year they were held on Thursdays throughout the month of December. Does anyone know if that will be the case this year? Where is it held at?

Yes, they are being held on Thursdasy again. They are held over by the International Gateway entrance, by the Friendship boat docks. You will need your DVC blue member card to get in. We went last year and had a ball!!! Going again this year, on the 7th I believe.

That's what I'm wondering. Also,what are the times? I'd like to attend if it's ok for kids but I would have to reschedule a character meal if it's in the evening.

It's very kid friendly!!! There are characters and there are games and crafts for the kids!!! Goofy even led some dancing last year.
As far as non-members going, I can't say for sure. I do know that we had to show our member cards. I saw someone being turned away because they didn't have a card, but they were a couple and not part of a group in which someone else had a card. I don't think it's a case of a member can bring a guest in with them the same as a preview for an attraction. Perhaps someone else will know for sure.

I was kind of wondering about guests too. The guests we have with us would LOVE to buy DVC, and I would like to bring them to the mixer too. Maybe this is a good reason to call my new guide and find out more details about VAKL too!

I thought I just read somewhere that the mixers are held on Wednesdays and are at the Atlantic Dance Hall.
