Merry Mixer ornaments?

Does anyone anticipate having an extra ornament from this year's DVC Merry Mixer? I was really hoping we'd be able to get one this year because we're spending the holiday at our Disney home (BWV), but we're missing the last Mixer by a day. I'd like to get one for our family's tree to commemorate our trip.

If you'll be attending a Mixer and think you'll have an extra ornament you'd like to share, please let me know. I would be more than happy to pay for shipping on it - thanks!

We leave next Wednesday the 3rd ... they should have a mixer one of the days we are there and if we go and have extras I can certainly get one to you. We have gone every year and usually walk away with 4 of them each trip so I don't think it will be a problem! Just send me a PM and we can work it all out!

Who is allowed to attend the mixer? I will down there for one Friday but will have other relatives with me besides my kids. Can they come in with me and DH? I ahve never been to one. Who gets an ornament ? How ? Each person that attends ?

The Merry Mixer is for Dvc members only and their family, you will have to show your dvc members card at the entrance and you & spouse will get an ornament, not the kids. dvc will have kids stuff there for kids to do.

We wanted to go to the Merry Mixer this year. We closed last week, but do not have our Member Number yet. We will be walking by the tent while it's going on, but yet can't get in. Here's hoping we get it before Dec 5th's MM.

If you don't get your card in time just stop by the Sales Center at SSR. They will be able to print a temporary card for you!

If you have an extra ornament, I would love to surprise my husband with one. We haven't been down for the Mixer for a couple years. My husband loves the ornaments. I think they should send them to every member.

The ornaments are pewter and small. You won't break it.

Two years ago we happened to be in WDW at the same time as some friends. I called member services to see who was allowed to go to the MMM, and we were told we could take guests with us. I told them that they were 2 adults and 5 kids, and they said it wouldn't be a problem. They went, and they didn't have a problem getting in with us. They ALL got ornaments, even when I told the people they weren't members and just my guests.

Interesting... I wonder if by doing so they have ever run out of ornaments for actual members by the last mixer. (hoping not!)
