Merry Mixer and MVMCP

The Merry Mixer is being held the same day as MVMCP. Do you think it would be too much to try to do both? I cant believe I am going back and forth about this, so I thought I could use some help.

We have been to MVMCP quite a few times, so we know what to expect at the party and we dont feel any urgency to get there before 6 or 7pm. Oh, this is adults only.

I don't think it would be too much especially since I've heard that they moved the Mixers over to the Contemporary. We've done this even when the party was held in a tent by the International Gateway.

When we've gone (all adults, too) to the Mixers we spend most of our time standing in line to buy merchandise (mostly pins), grab a cookie, listen to the music for awhile and then split (picking up the DVC ornament on the way out).

Sure, do both. You do not have to stay the entire time at the Mixer - it's more like an open house kind of a thing. Plus, since it's at the CR this year, you'll be able to walk to the MK whenever you are ready to leave.

How does the Mvmcp work? I've ordered tickets...do they close the mk and then reopen...make everyone leave? My sister will be with us this trip, can she go to the Merry Mixer with us or only dvc members? I 'm a Newbie with lots to learn...Thanks!

If this rumor were true, it would be VERY convenient. Go to MMM at the Contemporary and then MVMCP on the same day. Has anyone confirmed this? I don't see any official announcement anywhere.
