Merry Member Mixer?

Has anyone heard of possible dates for the Merry Member Mixer this year? I can't find any info on it for this year, and I'm hoping one will fall during the dates we're in WDW.

Merry Member Mixer
Celebrate the season by mixing and mingling with your Disney Vacation Club neighbors during this complimentary Member event that will be held every Thursday in December from 3:00 to 5:00 pm, located just outside of the International Gateway entrance to Epcot®.

There is a new notice on the DVC website stating that they put last years 2009 information up by accident and that castmembers are busy planning this years Merry mixer and to watch the members website for new information and that they apologize for posting the old info. dates are still up in the air

Glad to see you will be able to attend this year. I think after last year and everyone getting sick It will be a couple of years before I go during this time again. Of course no better place to be sick than at WDW while staying at BLT with a veiw of the castle. Hope the weather is great for you this year.

Not this year. I am leaving next friday(BWV). October 22-28th. One of Brian's caregiver's just retired as a para pro from the school Brian attended and I am taking her and a few friends to disney to help her celebarate. My daughter Kim and neice Tracy will be going December 3rd -13th this year. After last year we all decided to travel earlier this year. Hoping for better weather. I do love NYE at disney but maybe next year. We won't be doing the big group vacation again until December 2013 and then it will be early December.

Bummer that we'll miss you this year, Susan! December is a great time to visit. Maybe in 2013 we can meet for another Jellyrolls night!

I hope DVC announces the Merry Member Mixer dates soon. I'm not a very patient person when it comes to Disney trip planning.

You show your membership card to get in. Last time we went (2008) we got a huge rice crispy treat and beverages (punch I think). There is DVC merchandise for sale.

You get a photo op with Mickey and Minnie dressed in holiday attire and the PP photogs were there.

There is a dance party with Disney characters

We got a collectible ornament.

It was fun and as we are all adults (our boys were 17 at the time) we shopped, took a pic with M&M, ate our treat and headed out to EPCOT. It was by where the boats dock at the International Gateway.
