It seems a little negative here on the DIS today. Come on, folks! Tis the season to let go of the little things and remember the true meaning of the holiday. How about some peace, love and understanding?

Those of you worrying about family drama...let it go. At least you have family. There are many who don't or are missing those they've lost.

Those venting over the traditions or habits of others...let it go. In the grand scheme of things, is it really worth worrying about?

To all my fellow DISers, MERRY CHRISTMAS! Hug those you love...maybe, hug a stranger! The world could use more unconditional hugs!

I recently challenged my (catechism) students to wish everyone they meet a Merry Christmas and share a smile with them. A simple smile and/or a hug could be that gesture that someone could really use. Heck, we all could.

Merry Christmas!!!!! If my wonderful Disers could spare a nice thought for my best friend as she is in the hospital preparing for a bone marrow transplant. She won't be there with her little ones tomorrow morning and it's breaking my heart.
