I just wanted to say "Merry Christmas" to everyone on the CB before the boards go down. I'll be spending the next couple of days cleaning and cooking.

I hope that everyone who has to deal with odd/eccentric/annoying family members can just and have a good time!

Thanks! They aren't so bad... mostly just lazy and selfish.

That's why I love reading other DISers' threads complaining about their families... some of them make my ILs look pretty normal.

Are you going to take down your Christmas tree to accomodate Frank's feelings re: Christmas?

I intentionally invited all of the ILs over on Christmas Eve so that I wouldn't have to deal with them on Christmas Day. Knowing that, my MIL asked if she could wait and bring the kids' presents over on Christmas Day (after we would have all gotten together and opened presents on Christmas Eve ). Umm..... No, that's why I've invited everyone over on Christmas Eve.
