I love taking out all the Christmas Decorations - and that feeling of finding one of your favourite decorations - that you had sort of forgotten about over the past year...but then you get excited that you have it!

Still August and I bought a new Christmas tree today!

Since we had our conservatory built we have put our tree out there but last Christmas it was really starting to niggle me that we no longer had one in our lounge so today I have bought another one and we will have TWO Disney themed trees! Won't be long until it's time to decorate them!

I was in the card factory the other day, and they had row upon row of Christmas cards! Not sure why I was surprised, as I brought my first present for my brother a few weeks ago!

Everything does seem to be getting earlier!

I think with the promise of all this lovely warm weather, Christmas still feels too far away, but it's only 12 weeks on Sunday

I have bought a few pressies already. I go on to my new rota next week, I knew I would be working Christmas as I was on the old one however where I was originally working the Sat & Sun of Christmas i'm now working Fri-Tues, the only good thing is that they are shorter shifts

I was looking forward to having everyone over for Christmas in my 1st house of my own

would be lovely if we carried on with the weather all the way to Christmas! I am off to Vegas next week and plan to buy a few Xmas pressie's there! Have already planned with my friend our Christmas Cake baking day. We set our clocks so we start baking at the exact time and listen to the same christmas music while we bake..sad I know but that is the start of my Christmas build up!!

I've just put the fruit for my cake in to soak in brandy. It should be ready to make into a cake in 5 or 6 weeks time (if I don't keep testing it for flavour!!)

My girls have put me to shame this week, as they have already ordered quite a few presents for their friends and family I really can't get motivated, as with my holiday in September, the Girly Weekend and the lovely weather we had, October has taken me by surprise. Hopefully I'll get my act together over the next few weeks

i finally gave in and bought my first christmas decorations of the year! I got the nightmare before christmas bauble set, the jack and sally jointed decorations and the little soft toy character versions - the ever growing nbc themed tree! Can't wait to put the tree up!

I can't believe how quickly it is coming round, I usually have most of / if not all of my shopping done by now but i've not done anything.

I haven't even been into town since August, what with my holiday, illness etc... I would imagine that they have started putting stuff out in the shops but i'm just not motivated to even think about it yet....I love Christmas so this is worrying for me!

I'm the same Claire, this year has just flown by. I've seen all the Christmas Shops in Debenhams, BHS, M&S and Boots I really can't get my head around Christmas at the moment .. but I know I need to, and soon
