Merry Christmas everyone. In other parts of the world it’s almost Christmas so I figured I post the thread early. Have relatives/friends already arrived at your house? How are the food preparations going? Also, if your looking for a Christmas Mass stream, I recommend the Vatican Christmas Mass tonight/tomorrow or the National Shrine Christmas Mass. Both will be on YouTube and I’ll post the YouTube links when they start (EWTN also shows both on TV). Please stay safe and healthy this holiday season.

Merry Christmas !

Just the 3 of us here but will FaceTime and zoom with my siblings later tonight like last year. My brother really wanted us all in person this year but couldn’t do it. Too many underlying problems for me so the new variant would not be like a cold for me.

We have cookies that I made and sent to my siblings. Lots of candy and munchies here too.

Daughter will go to midnight mass.

I won’t be celebrating for another couple weeks, due to family schedule issues, so for now I plan on baking a pizza and a chocolate cake tomorrow and wrapping all the gifts I purchased. Merry Christmas to everyone who celebrates!

6 of us tonight, we're behind on food preps tonight although I do have the ham all cloved, pineappled, and brown sugary for the oven in the morning.

Merry Christmas!

Just us 4 today/tonight/tomorrow because we decided after over 2 decades that it's time to claim Christmas Eve for ourselves too. Well that didn't go over well with others. We're excited though. Me & DH can both relax and have a drink or 2 because neither of us will have to drive. We'll play games and watch It's a Wonderful Life.

So it's baked ziti, crockpot sausage & peppers, veggies/dips, & garlic bread with dessert of cookies & chocolate tonight. Tomorrow it's Brunch with cinnamon rolls, cheesy stuffed deviled eggs, veggies/dips, shrimp cocktail, & bacon. Food preps are done except for making the actual cinnamon rolls.

I just lost my third game of whist. We’re using homemade Christmas cookies and my mother’s Christmas chocolate bark as prizes. If my youngest cousin wins anymore sweets he’ll never go to sleep…
For those who don’t know the game:

It’s a game that the whole family can play and the game has been played by Americans/Canadians/Europeans since the 18th century. It was especially popular during the holidays.

I'm late for the party but Merry Christmas! We had my sister, the kids, my mom, and my cousin, and her toddler at Christmas brunch. After brunch, my cousin and her son left and I went with my sons and husband to help feed the homeless. One of my DH's employees and her family feed the homeless every 90 days and the date fell on Christmas. We really enjoyed it so we're going to try to help them out next year during some of the other days.

After that, we went home to open presents. For dinner we had appetizers from Trader Joes and Costco and watched National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. It was a great holiday.
