Merrell shoes??!!

I have a pair of Merrell Palmetto Slides which I bought for my trips to WDW. They are extremely comfortable and definitely recommend them. They are available at Macy's, Nordstrom and Amazon.

I have these also...great shoes for Disney.

Thanks for all the advice, I think this weekend I will check locally to see if any of the stores carry them so I can at least try them on. Also, in the past when I have gone to Disney I have brought along up to ten different pairs of shoes for walking this way when a shoe starts giving my feet problems I switch to a different shoe that doesn't rub me the same way. So my question is if I get two pairs, saying one to wear with socks and one I can wear without socks, do you think that would be enough?

mine are pesaro sandals, they are the best shoes I have ever had! Wet or Dry they are great!

ONE pair of good shoes should always be enough. If they rub you so much that you feel the need to switch to another pair of shoes, then they are either not good shoes for you or not fitted properly to your feet.

I got my Merrells at REI, where the shoe salesman measured my foot carefully and got me the proper size shoes. I also tried them on with the socks I'd actually be wearing with them and walked around the store for a few minutes before making up my mind.

Once you get them, wear them everyday for a week or two, in easy circumstances, to break them in and get used to them. Be sure to wear the socks you plan on wearing at WDW!

New shoes may cause blisters (though my Merrels didn't), and lots of walking at WDW may cause blisters, but switching to different shoes will just spread the pain over a larger area and make you even more miserable.
