Is this the one located inside a restaurant (can't recall which one) in Orange County? If it is, one of my good friends and her husband (the magician) used to be the entertainment there. In fact, Merlin's was their own operation, but it was held in a restaurant that acted as a regular restaurant with a different name the rest of the week except for that one night. That may have changed over the years. They divorced, so I don't think my friend is acting as magician's 'assistant' anymore (though she may still be), but I THINK her husband (the magician) is still there. I will have to ask her/him about it. Did you see a magician name advertised anywhere? His name is Joseph (assuming he is still the main entertainment there and they didn't get someone else to do it in his place). Anyway, my friend had asked me to come to Merlin's on many occasions to see them and I never made it there, surprisingly, but I would give an honest assessment of it if I had gone and not liked it - even though they are friends!!

So I would be curious to hear if anyone has actually gone and seen the show.

Sherry- yes its in orange county at the rib trader restaurant. I didnt see a name for merlin on the website though. http://www.merlinshow.com/ is the website. Still very curious about it

I looked on the site and that is definitely still Joseph (he is the magician in the photo). I thought maybe he had turned over the Merlin's business to another magician by now but I guess not. Now if he and my friend divorced amicably and as friends, she may very well still be working with him. I will have to ask her. In any case, I think I never took them up on their offer of free tickets to come and see them because I have never been a magic fan. I never cared about it one way or the other. I wish I could tell you if it was any good or not! Of course, if I HAD gone to see it, I would have had to tell them I loved it even if I didn't, but I would tell YOU or any outsiders if I didn't like it!!:lmao:
