Merida - when to meet

This is our first time going without strollers in the late June heat, so I'm trying to limit zigzagging across Fantasyland. Here are the possible times I could get to Merida without going too far out of our way: Day 1 is a Tuesday with Early Morning Magic; we will arrive at 2 and stay for fireworks. We could get in Merida's line anytime after FoF (planning on watching from Frontierland, so 3:30) until our 5pm dinner reservation. We could also go right after dinner at 6 (assuming since she ends at 6:45 the last group is let in around 6:15). Does the line regularly get cutoff by 6?
Day 2 is a Thursday and the most recommended day. We have a pre-park opening ADR at BOG. Again, trying to limit the walking, I was planning on hitting Under the Sea, Barnstormer, and Dumbo on our way to Merida. Touring Plans estimates I'd get there around 9:45. (This assumes I'm able to get SDMT and PP FP for later in the day.)

Could we potentially do the meet in 30 min at any of those times? Or should I plan on an hour?

Thanks!

You will pass Merida on your way to Storybook Circus anyway, so get in line for Merida first thing. She won't come out until around 910 or 915. Then go right to Dumbo. Last year my daughter and I went to Barnstormer (ok, Great Goofini) and we were the only ones over there for a good 15-20 minutes. We ride 5 times straight without getting off. You should have minimal waits, if any, after Merida. As long as you get there to be in the first group to meet her, 30 min is very doable.

Thanks for the feedback. I think Merida is only on the way when coming from rope drop, but we'll be coming from the back of the park at BOG.

Has anyone tried lining up right after FoF? Or at 6pm? How long was the queue?

Thank you!

We were there mid-March, and the queue was closed when we tired in the afternoon. Not sure what times they close the queue throughout the day. For us, the line up for the 9:00 start worked best.

Is there any other time besides 9:15 that is a good time?

If I went at Rope Drop, how long is the wait? Would we be done by 9:30?

Also, does she meet at 8:00 during Early Magic Hours?

We tried multiple times last month to meet Merida and the line was either outrageous or closed. The only time we found that worked for us was around 930am and even then we waited a good 30mins and were the last family let in before a break. I don't believe she meets during EMH but I could be wrong.
