Merchandise

I couldn't find a thread about this...so I'm just gonna ask here.

If someone knows where there is a thread about this that would be great!

My question....I was accepted last week for Merchandise, I want to know what are the work locations for this role. I understand it varies, but where exactly are the places that fall under Merchandise? I know you can be placed at a gift shop in one of the parks or resorts, but what other types of work locations that cover Merchandise?

I did merchandise in 2005. I worked in Fantasyland. There were 5 shops and 3 carts to work at.

In merchandise you could work in one of the parks, Downtown Disney, one of the resorts, maybe one of the water parks. And you would work in one of the stores, or at stores and carts. Besides actual merchandise, you could also do speciality (like hat sewing, or working with food, like fudge).

I did Merch last year and I'm going back down this summer to do it again. I worked Backlands at DHS and we had a lot of variety in our locations. We had a bunch of stores and carts and even a coffee shop. We also did special event Merch for Star Wars Weekends. You could be working in one big store like the Emporium on Main Street or a bunch of smaller locations like I did. I had a ton of fun, and I loved my location.

Really im huge into pins so im really excited to pin trade, but kinda curious do they put CP kids at pin store such as DTD or EPCOT?

Yep! I know of people that worked there on the CP!

Also merch can include stroller rentals

I worked at a pin cart in DTD!

We could also work at the big pin store there but I worked on the other side of DTD.
