Merchandise the same at US as IOA?

We were in Orlando over the christmas holiday and we spent most of our time at Disney however we did go to IOA. My 4 year old son got this little Hulk stuff doll and he LOVES it and is wanting the spiderman and ironman that is just like them. I've looked online and cant' find it and I have a friend going to Disney in February and was going to ask her to pick them up for me. Does the main stores in each of the parks have the same merchandise? Would she be able to find the superhero stuff at US that they had at IOA?

i have been thinking about your question for the last hour.

i can't say for sure.

i do know that the majority of merch at the ioa main store has most of the items for that park.
same goes for the studio side.
you'll find a lot more ET stuff at the studios side large merch store than you would at IOA.....

i do buy Marvel items but use the shops that are in that section of the park.
spiderman/dr doom, etc ...
i find more there than at the large merch shop at the front of the park.


i always buy pins and backpack items for the character.
i did find many characters from both parks at the main ioa store last october.
plenty of betty boop, lucy, etc.


why don't you call guest services in the park and ask them.
tell them the IOA items you want and ask if it is sold at the studio side?

The merchandise in the main stores is different between the parks. I looked at Despicable Me merchandise in US at one point in the day and went to find the same items in the IOA main store. The IOA store did not even have a Despicable Me section. It makes sense, since US will have the upcoming ride. The Harry Potter merchandise displays are much more prominent and extensive than the ones in US.

Best to look for items you want in the park that has the related attraction.

I can't say I ever remember seeing any super hero stuffed toys...interesting. I'll try to remember to look for you this weekend. Since Ironman isn't under the Universal/Marvel agreement, you won't find anything at Universal so Disney would be your best bet but again...I'll try to remember to look.

I think I remember seeing something like that last time. I don't think they have anything at USFF but maybe the Universal Store in city walk or the airport store. I think thats probably were they would have them besides IOA because they carry merchandise from both parks. You could maybe call universal. We called about the pygmy puff stuffed animals to see if they were sold out or not and they told us that they were sold out at the WWOHP but not at Citywalk or the airport.
