Merchandise return?

Okay, here's the story:
Last December my sister was at WDW and bought my DD the Minnie Mouse YOMD light up dress. The dress is HUGE on her (shoulder seams down at her elbows!), and we are going to WDW in four days. I don't have the receipt, and one of the price tags isn't on it, but the YOMD tag is.
What are my chances of returning it/exchanging it/getting store credit/etc.?
I know WDW has a pretty relaxed return policy (or they used to) but I'm wondering if this pushes even that, esepcially since the dress isn't cheap!
Any wild guesses?

I would bring it back.
We purchased a carry on bag piece of luggage from Disney and after just a couple of uses the lining totally ripped out.
We brought it back to the store were we purchased it without a receipt and they gave us store credit which we turned right around and spent.
They didn't even carry that bag anymore but gave us the refund

Cool. I guess WDW probably doesn't get a whole lot of returns, and make a ton of sales so they can afford to be lenient with returns in exchange for customer satisfaction. I would be perfectly happy with store credit. You mean I would have an excuse to have to find souvenirs?

Actually, they get a huge number of returns. I've talked to CMs who have had people return things they've had for several years. Disney almost always takes the merchandise back. There are exceptions, but you may as well give it a try!

I'm glad I asked. For some reason I find asking and being told no very embarassing in these situations. The disappointing thing is that the dress isn't for under age 3, so the size I have is the smallest, and I can't do the easy thing and just ask for an even exchange.
