Hello again, I have changed my ADR's again (hopefully for the last time)... If any of you have an opinions or see any problems with these, I would LOVE your input! :woohoo:
This is our first stay at Disney since both myself and my DH were kids. We will be travelling with our DD5, and we are staying at the Poly 2/4-2/11 with the DxDP. Both my DH and my DD are the type that are always hungry and still stick thin (can you tell I'm jealous?). I booked so many character meals for the buffet factor, and most likely we won't wait around to see most of the characters.

I have these ADR's booked, and although we may not eat a full meal, it will be a welcome break as our DD5 no longer naps. If any of you Disney dining experts see any flaws in these, or have menu recommendations or "must haves" at a restaurant, please let me know.

Are there any of these you would switch around, change, something I overlooked???

Thank you again everyone... I never knew that planning meals at Disney would seem like a part-time job! ;)

Keep in mind since you are staying at the Poly you have room service available for 2 meal credits, tip is included in those credits. Don't be afraid to order a meal in the room. You can order say one adult meal an one child meal and share. That's the same as usuing 1 credit for 4 people.

As for your ADR list: consider booking The Plaza for lunch instead of returning to CP. It is a lighter meal in a great location on Main Street with fantasic ice cream desserts. Lots a good reviews for it as well.

I'd do Planet Hollywood on Monday instead of a second trip to 'Ohana. The Chef Mickey's meal is really big and you'll want plenty of room for Narcoossee's too. If you need something in between make it CS. We had Narcoossee's as our arrival night meal and I had trouble finishing. I had the surf & turf, but subbed scallops for the turf. I had the crab cakes appetizer and a Mango smoothie as my beverage. Dessert, that was a joke to get in. I had some of Mom's Almond crusted cheesecake and shared a kids's banana split with my nephew(we did not finish).

A general rule for us, two buffets on a day is tough. Now we never did one at 8am and that may help. We did Chef Mickey's after 11am and it was later evening the next time I ate. Another day we had a 10am CS breakfast and Boma dinner at 6pm. We originally had a TS buffet breakfast booked. I have no idea how I would have been able to eat both of those. Boma is one of those places where you need to try a little bit of so many things. It isn't just about packing it in, its experiencing all. We spent the time in between the two meals either in the pool or walking around AK, so we burned off that breakfast. We only had ice cream treats at AK, no food. For what its worth consider a meal at Boma.

You've done some great work for what I'm sure will be an awesome family trip!

The Akerhaus breakfast is a great pick! We just got back and it was our favorite character meal and we did CRT too. The princesses are lovely and very engaging (more so than at the castle) and the food is very good. We loved the cheesy potatoes! We too booked character breakfasts daily and found we tired of them. The food seemed to get repetitive BUT they are a great way to see the characters without wasting time in lines at the parks. Have a great time!

Hi

This looks like a great plan. My only concern is Tuesday - can't imagine doing a buffet for breakfast and lunch. I thinks i would swap breakfast at O'hanna with breakfast at Kona on your departure day as well, nice to end with a character meal and you won't be going to the same place twice in one day. Whatever you do have a great trip.:goodvibes

Thank you for all of your feedback. It really helps out a lot! :goodvibes
I know we always have the ability to cancel some ADR's once we are there, but hopefully this will at least give us some time off of our feet if we need it.

How long should I plan for travel time to DTD from the Poly?

Thanks again! :)
