Mentally Preparing: A Focker, A Croc & Waldo hit POFQ! Trip Report Link is UP!

Tracy, I forgot to say goodbye earlier. I may not have a chance to DIS tomorrow. I am going to try and sneak on at some point but in case I don't have a fun and safe trip and I hope to see you somewhere in the World:goodvibes

Thanks, Lisa! I've got your touring plan for MK day. PM me your email address and I'll send it over. I'll work on MGM tomorrow. :goodvibes

Hi Tracy! Sorry it's taken me so long to get back online. Sent you a PM with my email addy - you're so sweet to be so generous with your time.

How was your day today? I've been watching the weather for Orlando and it looks as though we may not get any rain at least for the first 5 days but then again that can change.

This sums it up nicely I think. :thumbsup2 I can just hear the intro to the Lifetime made-for-TV movie....

8 days DLM. But if we don't count that last day, it's only 7. Which is a week. But that includes a weekend, so it's really LESS THAN A WEEK! :cool1:

What's all this about banjos and beer?

Tracy - love the hair! Where can I get some Nighty Night juice for DD2?

Hey Tracy. Now don't panic but I someone posted on TGM something about a hurricane that may hit Miami on either the 21st or 22nd: " After a lull week, the system in the West Caribbean is still rather unorganized, but will have to be watched. It's near Jamaica at the moment and nearing Cuba and the Cayman Islands, mainly causing rain in the area. The system is still moving westward and will have to be watched a bit longer, but development chances are still pretty low.

The system in the Eastern Atlantic, that has recently come off Africa, is moving west, and has a long track west. Odds are that it will be a fish spinner (moving out to sea), but will have to be watched. If it persists it could develop over the next several days, it's moving westward right now.

In the Pacific, Hurricane Flossie, crossing from the eastern Pacific Hurricane Basin into the Central Hurricane Basin, has the potential to affect Hawaii, and in such a case, would begin to be discussed here more. RIght now Hurricane Flossie's windspeed is around 130MPH. It's likely to weaken as it moves a bit westward, and the current forecast rack moves it south of Hawaiian Islands, however they are still within the cone of error. Flossie is moving out of the basin covered by the National Hurricane Center, and is now entering the area covered by the Central Pacific Hurricane Center."

I haven't done my research yet but wanted to give you a heads up. Seem I have bad juju when it comes to hurricanes.:sad2: Gonna go surf the web and see what I can find out.

ETA: Ok, here's a good link to bookmark that was posted over on TGM http://flhurricane.com/. Looks like we're in watch and wait mode. I'll tell you one thing, I'm keeping a close eye on things because if something is going to hit the east coast my plan is to fly out a day early. Keep your fingers crossed!

Happy Single Digits Tracy & Co.

I know you girls are going to have a great time meeting up & I can't wait to see all the pictures & hear all the stories.

Woooohoooty it's almost here.....:woohoo: It's kind of amazing how excited we get for each other's trips isn't it. :confused3:

Ha, ha, she was asking where the bathroom is - the spanish word for bathroom is bano. There's a little squiggly line that's supposed to go across the top of the letter n to signify it's a soft n. I know, TMI.:rolleyes1

Hey Miz!! Where the heck have you been? We've miss you!
Ok on the night night juice.... here's the recipe:
I may get flamed for this, but who cares!:rolleyes1
All I do is mix 1 tsp of DM cough syrup with a little chocolate milk, or 7-Up. The DM knocks him out and then everyone on our flight is happy dappy fliers! :teeth:
In case anyone is wondering, me pediatrician told me it was perfectly safe and would not cause any crazy side effects. Well, actually he told me to try Benedryl, but that just made Evan crazy hyper, so we went with door #2.
Hm....does anyone else hear the dueling banjos from Deliverance?
:lmao: DM you crack me up. I know I've been neglecting your TR, but I'm gonna wrap this PTR up tomorrow so I can enjoy all the great trip reports before I leave.
Happy Single Digits Tracy & Co.

Ok T,
Jo is gone, post a pic of the hair baybeeeee!!!!!!!I can wait to see it:goodvibes
Tomorrow, T. I don't even have a picture to post yet! I will soon(ish) I promise!
UGH...I saw that too...hopefully (fingers, toes, eyes, legs and arms crossed), it'll fizzle out...I'm going anyway!!:headache:
I don't mind a little rain, maybe it'll keep all the tourists away. :lmao:
I say we leave tonight just to be safe!:thumbsup2
Oooh! Sounds like a plan. So are you really thinking of leave a day early? How will you do that? Will you have to pay a fee or something? Where will you stay?

I told Tony that at least the parks will be less crowded:lmao:

This is a wrap people.

I'm sad to let it go, but I'm so excited to be setting off on our Disney World adventure. We've got so many new things planned this time around; we're traveling in a huge pack, I've got meets with my DIS friends planned, Andy gets to golf, our Illuminations cruise. 8/31: Start planning next years trip!! :rotfl:

I've got so many things to get wrapped up this week. I was hoping for a peaceful week, since I'm all packed and ready, but apparently there are things that need to get done that don't include packing. :teeth:

This week alone I've got to get Evan's hair cut, find all chargers for Gameboys, DVD players, iPods, cell phones, etc. I have to go over to DTD and get those pouches for everyone & get more make-up at Sephora, set up all bills to be paid whilst we're in the world, stop the mail, stop Netflix, drain the pool, talk to the neighbor kid who will water the plants, find my Black Crocs that have gone missing, call the Limo company to confirm, go to the CU and pull all the cash to transfer to the checking account (we're cash only on vacation) :sad2: . I have to trim Maddies bangs (fringe) & paint her fingers and toes, get myself manicured and pedicured, make an appointment to get bathing suit ready ;), cancel 3 un-needed ADR's, and confirm our IROE cruise. Whew! :faint: Then, we have a birthday party on Saturday afternoon for my cousins daughter who is Maddie's age and then we have a Super Sweet 16 for Andy's cousins daughter in the evening.

The Ducks were here on Sunday as it was "Hair Salon" day and I colored and highlighted Daisy and TE's hair. As usual we started talking about clothes, the weather, etc. and then Huey busted out with the fact that he only has 2 pair of shorts. :faint: Well, Donald flipped out and they all ran off to the mall only to find out Huey was exagerrating. He has plenty of shorts, well with the help of a load or 2 of laundry. :lmao: Yesterday Donald and the boys came over and Donald was telling me he washed all their clothes to see what they had that was vacation worthy. OMG! It's 1 week out and they're just getting their stuff together? :headache: I don't get it, Donald is as OCD as I am, maybe even worse.

Everyday the kids wake up and ask, "Is today our big day, mama?" I have to remind them that on "the big day" I will wake them up and it will still be dark. :) They're so excited at this point. They chat about rides they'll ride and what shows they'll watch. They pour over the old maps from last year and laugh and giggle with excitement. Or wait... is that me? ;)

Well, I did it baby! I reached my 15 pound goal for Disney World. :woohoo: Now I'm not skinny, I never have been and never will be and have no desire to be. I'm curvalicious! :lmao: But seriously I do feel great and my clothes fit nicely. I'm hoping to be at goal by the holidays. Winter is so hard for me to diet - with all those yummy warm comfort foods! Blah! I'm fighting some stomach bug right now and not in the mood for anything at this point. It's taking all I've got to finish this PTR up as I really want to get back to all those other great trip reports out there that I have neglecting. (So sorry DM and DDad!) But hey, to quote one of my favorite lines from The Devil Wears Prada: "I'm only 1 stomach flu away from my goal weight!" :rotfl2: I love, love, love that movie!

So thanks for reading & lurking :cool2: along with me these past 6 months. I do cherish all my DIS friends and DIS lurkers. I'm so looking forward to meeting all you guys and I do hope to run into some random DISers, well randomly! :lmao:
Stay tuned for my trip report coming to the DIS BOARDS in about 3 weeks tenatively titled:

Waldo Takes on the World of Rats in Pants and Fruity Booze!

Pics to follow soon, T!

Ok, Disneyland Mama saying "Peace out! West Siiiiide!" :hippie:

A final Waldoism for you:
So yesterday Waldo, TE, Andy and I were talking about how tall Evan was getting. Dewey was carrying Evan and there was about 6 inches before Evan's feet hit the ground. Let's just say Dewey is a little on the small side. So Waldo said that whilst Dewey won't be a big guy, he is a very smart kid. And TE returned that with a "Well, all the kids are smart." To which Waldo replied "Not all the kids... (blank) is not smart. He makes some stupid decisions." So I replied "Well, he's not smart, he's average." You know, I'm trying to keep the peace. Well, Waldo comes back with "He's not even average. I can't believe some of the stuff he pulls!" So TE says "Well, you weren't smart at that age either. You did alot of stupid stuff too!" So what do you think Waldo said? Yup, he went there and replied, "I know of one stupid thing I did!" I couldn't help but completely spit my ice cream all over my daughters leg and completely cracked up because I knew exactly what he was talking about. You see.... he married TE at the same age my nephew is! :rotfl2:
Can you guess who no longer exists in TE's world? :rolleyes1
