Carp!! Is it Mary Poppins or the Van Trapp movie.... ugh!!! I can't remember the name!!!:headache:
Well at least you got that it had Julie Andrews in it :thumbsup2 It's the Sound of Music and you must watch it one day very sweet although even better now it's on DVD as you can skip the boring bits :rotfl2:

Oh, yeah, I know those songs as Maddie watches Mary Poppins all the time. She drives me mad with that movie. The best part is when she starts talking with her English accent (Maddie, that is). It really cracks me up.:lmao:

Ellie does a wicked American accent, August will be fun!

Nightie night :wave2:

Yeah, for you....paying off what is due...hooty hooty hoooty hoooo.....yeah yeah for you. I thought I would rhyme a bit for ya tooo!!!!!!!!

Hey! :headache: The least you could do is let other people have time to call in too!!

I wouldn't have known it anyway though...:sad2:

With all these crazy changes and additions, I'm all confused. I know! Me, uber planner extraordinaire. I've got more notes scribbled in my handy dandy lime notebook that I can't remember what are just notes and what are actual facts.

So....

I had to make another call...

This time to Disney Dining.

Twice.

Since I used 3 different phone number to fanagle back up ADR's. :rolleyes1

The first girl was very nice and helpful as I played "newbie" WDW guest. I am a newbie, but they don't need to know that. She ran down all my ADR's with the proper names on the reservation. See, I used 3 different names; Tracy, The Enabler and Daisy. Oh and I put BBB in DH's name. :confused3 So made all the proper notations on my handy dandy ADR spreadsheet.

Then I hung up and called again, giving them my cell phone number, which should have the ressies in my name. This lady was on to me. She asked alot of questions. Did I make all these ressies? Who is The Enabler? What resort are we stay at? :smooth: I started getting jumpy and started perspiring and she actually made me stutter... duh, duh, duh. She started laughing at me. Can you believe it?? She was giggling at my answers. Maybe she was giggling 'cause I was stuttering, maybe because I started all my answers with ...."Uhhhhh..." What if I really had a speech inpediment? Not nice. :sad2: Anyway, we finished our conversation and I had all the info. I needed. And she finished our call with "Have a nice day." I read LL's pre-TR this morning and she confirmed all she got was "Have a nice day" when she bought her P&PP tix, as did Jo. What in Sam Hill is going on??? Isn't anyone getting "Have a magical day!"?? I think I'll call Disneyland and see if they're giving out magical days!

I know this is boring... but it's getting down to crunch time, baby. Read the ticker, baby, read the ticker. Tic toc, tic toc. Yeah, I love Silence of the Lambs. Things should start falling into place, right? The park days are planned, the ADR's are made, changed, then made again, the wardrobes are complete. Or are they?? So, last night I decide to go through DH's closet to see the status of his vacation clothes. :scared1: He only has 4 t-shirts and 2 newer golf shirts. D'oh! :headache: That means MORE shopping. What's a girl to do? So, I went to Target this AM and hey, they had mens shirts for $4.99. I bought him a couple and I hung them up in his closet. Shhhhhh... he doesn't need to know they're from Target! :lmao: A few more t-shirts and camp shirts, and he should be set. Uh oh, I better check and make sure he's got enough shorts!

So, with all the changes, I'm going to post my itinerary. Maybe this will inspire Jo to start her pre-trip report! ;) LY, MI!

I'm wondering if we have enough MK time??? Hmmm... maybe I should switch 8/23 DS time for MK time?? Anybody???

Firstly :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Secondly stop picking on me :rotfl2:

Thirdly over here if a man had Camp shirts it would mean he batted for the other team ;)

DM- You should be a Dis Trip Planner as a career---you have this planning thing down, girl! Your family should be so proud!:woohoo:

It is crunch time! The trip is almost here!
That ticker is making me VERY jealous!

On the MK subject--since you are soooo close to DL, I would just keep your plans as is. Unless, you feel like spending more time at MK...then go for it!:thumbsup2 I love MK, but I also love the other parks, too. We go to DL 2 to 3 times a year so we like to spend more time at Epcot, AK and MGM.

I do see your point......even with my kids being older (10, 13), they still wanted 2 full days in the MK. We loved the late night MK--great time for rides and cooler too.
Hey, we liked LeChefs for lunch--would certainly plan it again!:thumbsup2

Secondly stop picking on me :rotfl2:
Would you like some cheese & crackers with you're whine? C'mon, put on your big girl knickers and get that pre-TR started!! :lmao:

Thirdly over here if a man had Camp shirts it would mean he batted for the other team ;)
Shut up!!! :rotfl2: I'm gonna tell DH that, just to get a rise outta him! (easy there, kids ;) )

DM- You should be a Dis Trip Planner as a career---you have this planning thing down, girl! Your family should be so proud!:woohoo:

Thanks, Daisy! I'm thinking of going to work for Disney Travel Company! ;)

I'm glad to hear you liked LeChefs for lunch. We didn't like dinner last time, but the lunch menu looks pretty nice. :thumbsup2
Here's the thing with MK vs. Dland.... Space Mtn & Buzz at MK are super lame. Splash and BTMRR are exactly the same as is all of Fantasyland, so no big deal right? And HM is going to be closed. The things we love at MK are things that Dland no longer has or doesn't have at all, like CoP and the People Mover (TTA), Philharmagic, Hall of Presidents, & the Laugh Floor. And those rides/attractions aren't headliners (with the exception of LF), so we can easily do them in a few hours. So I'm hoping with the August crowds 1/2 day and 3/4 day should fit the bill. We shall see! :rolleyes1

Ah yes, I know this well....::yes::

And here comes the wind up....

I had to make another call...

And the pitch...

This time to Disney Dining.

Meatball, right across the plate...
You all knew it was coming, right? The call? Come on...of course you did!

Ok, um...twice is a new low Tracy...

Since I used 3 different phone number to fanagle back up ADR's.

Ah, but of course you did!!pirate:

Are we all set then? Me thinks not....:rolleyes1

Anyone??:confused3

Quid pro quo, Clarice...quid pro quo....

Uh oh...I know where this is going....

I have shopping to do too...All of a sudden NOTHING fits Michael anymore and DH has been telling me he needs shorts, etc...Guess I know what I'll be doing the next couple of weekends!

So, with all the changes, I'm going to post my itinerary. Maybe this will inspire Jo to start her pre-trip report! ;) LY, MI!

I don't know...we may have a better chance of seeing Elvis in K-Mart than a pre-trip from Jo:rolleyes: (:lmao: LY Jo!! )

I'm wondering if we have enough MK time??? Hmmm... maybe I should switch 8/23 DS time for MK time?? Anybody???

Well, I've got MK that night....

Unless of course, I shuffle it around:confused3

Yesterday morning, I was catching up on V's pre-trippie and noticed she mentioned her Mary Jane crocs. Well, I had purchased Maddie a pair of purple ones and I fell in love with them. THEN, I just happened to peruse the Budget board and found a 10% code for DICKSSPORTINGGOODdotCOM, well, I just had to go and see if they had the cute Mary Janes in my size. Well whaddayaknow... they had them. I used google check out for an additional $10 off and my total came to $17. :woohoo: Score!!! That brings my total CROCS purchase to 11!!
I have those very same ones and LOVE them! I love that I can jibbitize them with Disney loves!
TA: Hi, Tracy, I just wanted to call you and let you know there's another code for free dining in August....
ME: (in my head thinking: OMG! I may get free dining after all!!! Does she know something I don't? popcorn:: )
TA: And I just wanted to let you know that I called WDW this morning and you still don't qualify unless you do the split stay, which isn't really worth it. So if you see this online or anything, I've already checked on it. So you don't have to call me.
ME: :headache: (Shocked, silence) Ok, Norma, thanks for calling.

I hang up the phone and The Enabler asks me what she said. I relay the conversation to her and she starts laughing and then tells me: "Norma just told you that so you don't call her and bug her anymore. Basically she's telling you your a pain in her butt!" Can you believe that?? :rotfl2:
Yep...:rotfl:

I've been reading Dining reviews on Hollywood & Vine, and I have to admit, I'm a little weary about our breakfast there. Yes, they have the Little Einsteins, Evan's favorites characters, but they can always meet the Leo and June on the Mickey Avenue, yes? I'm waiting for V to dine there and based on her experience and recommendation, I'll either keep it or toss it.

Okay, so I know I am a bit behind on my trippie, but this place is coming and I will tell you GO! For the Kiddos! Please...Do I need to beg? (But I would do lunch...)

So, with all the changes, I'm going to post my itinerary. Maybe this will inspire Jo to start her pre-trip report! ;) LY, MI!

WHAT!!! You are going to make those adorable kiddos wait 5 days in WDW to see the castle? WHAT Sananna(sp?) winds have you been flying on?:confused3 I though we went over that...pages ago? I know I have been outta here for awhile (my appologies) BUT Tracy, Tracy TRACY! Please bring them to the castle sooner. I understand you are lucky enough to live so close to the 1st house of the mouse, but Cindy's castle is WAY more impressive.

OMG!!! Pjv!!! Thanks for pointing that out!! Great, I had to fanagle the plans, yet again!! :rotfl2:

So I looked at my itinerary and noticed I do have alot of Epcot days. Hmmmm...:scratchin: I think I can take one for the team and change 8/22 Epcot evening to a Magic Kingdom evening. This way the bigger kids, (me included) get our Test Track fix and the kiddos get their MK fix on the first day, since we won't be back until day 5. Back to UOG's website!?!?
:headache: :lmao: This actually works out better, as Wishes will be at 9pm on the 22nd. The only other MK evening we have is 8/27 and Wishes is at 10pm and there's no way the kids will stay awake! :woohoo: Thanks again, Pjv!!
