Mentally Preparing: A Focker, A Croc & Waldo hit POFQ! Trip Report Link is UP!

Look at you GO! :woohoo: Goin' and gettin' all crafty on us...DH makes shirts for us every time we go. EVERY time. We never get comments. EVER! But you will. The lime will surely get you noticed.
You're kidding, right? Your DH makes shirts?? Wow, I'm impressed! :goodvibes

Your DH makes shirts? Can he train other DH's?
I'm with you! :thumbsup2
I love it, that's sooo cool! Crafting is fun to do with the weather we're having. I'm not the crafty type so I resorted to looking into custom Ts at Zazzle.com. I'm gonna get Ts made for us for the P&P Party.
I was going to do Zazzle shirts as well, but everytime I go to the site, it's all whacked out and doesn't save my shirts. So I had to channel Martha Stewart! :lmao:
Ooh, and I can't wait to read the next installment about the new wardrobe! Will you post it by tomorrow, huh, will 'ya, please, huh?! I want a full pictorial!popcorn::
Coming right up.... sans pictorial, sorry! ;)
S'late, he does shirts AND the spreadsheet. Am I lucky, or what?
Ok, now you're just bragging! :lmao:
OMG!!!Look at you little Miss Crafty!Did you do this at home??I am so jealous as I dont have even one small bone of craftyness in me..Its actually pretty sad.
Anywhoo--LOVE the shirt:cool2: !Great job.:thumbsup2
Thanks, yes I made them at home last night. I've got zero amount of craftiness, too! I just got lucky last night. (Watch it there, S'late! ;) )

So, most everyone just buys a new key items for vacay, right? Am I the only one who obsesses about vacation clothes? Am I the only one who has a spreadsheet for vacation clothes that is color and letter coded? :confused3 C'mon, someone fess up!

So last year, I bought tons of new vacation clothes. I had 10 new pairs of shorts and about 20 new tops. I saved them all summer and only wore them to WDW. Well, I still have said tops and shorts sitting in a drawer only used 1 time in WDW. Here's my dilemma.... do I buy more stuff or do I just use what I wore last year? Everything's in perfect condition, I even have 3 pairs of shorts I didn't even wear 'cause they were too tight! I bought them as an incentive to lose weight. Yeah, it didn't work! :lmao: But, I have lost enough weight to fit them now! :woohoo: And I'm not in that many vacation photos from last year, so I think I can pull off not buying anything, right? Well, I did buy a few new things... 3 more shorts and 4 tops.

I will need another *gasp* bathing suit. Ewwwww!!! That means going to the store and actually trying them on in that oh so flattering florescent lighting that just hits your cellulite riddled thighs at that perfect angle and make you want to stab yourself with a hanger! :scared1: Not pretty!
Now for my kids, DH is on his own. I don't spreadsheet his clothes. He's pretty simple. He'll throw and couple of arms full of clothes in a suitcase and off he goes. Whatevah!!

Ok, so spring cleaning is the order of the day for Maddie and Evan's closet. Maddie, my poor little waif child has sprouted like tree this year. Fortunantly, she has gained a pound in 2 years. I wish I had her metabolism! So, her summer/vacation clothes from last year still fit her. Great, we'll only have to buy a few items and mix them with last years clothes and she's set. Perfect! :thumbsup2 I head over to Evan's closet. He's a big boy. Not fat, he's just big boned! :lmao: Who am I kidding... he's got chubby yummy thighs and a little pot belly! I love to cuddle this kid! He's grown leaps and bounds! No way am I going to get him into last years size 24 mos. shorts. Oh well, Evan gets a new wardrode, completely! Lucky guy! I went crazy buying, buying, buying. I bought the last of his clothes yesterday at *sniff, sniff* Babies R Us.

Ok, :offtopic: sorry. So, DH and I have been debating whether or not to have a 3rd child. I am so torn. I miss the days of babyhood. I miss the coos and crawling and the cute little clothes. So we went to BRU yesterday and my uterus almost jumped out of my body! My baby radar went off charts! That is until I saw her.... that poor girl. Her belly was HUGE! Her clothes were stretched WAAAAAY over her giant belly. She looked miserable. She didn't exactly waddle... she kind of swayed back forth alternating feet and shuffling them forward. Her feet looked like two overcooked hot dogs. Poor thing! I wanted to help her, to carry her if I could. It was really funny, but sad and the same time! Well the sight of her did it. My uterus cringed and closed the doors, dead bolted them, even. I changed my mind, just like that. Nope, as much as I love being pregnant and yes, I love giving birth. I don't want to go through that again. :sad2:

Ok, where was I?

Wardrobes complete? CHECK

UP NEXT:
How many travel sized shampoo does one actually need?

So, most everyone just buys a new key items for vacay, right?
::yes::
Am I the only one who has a spreadsheet for vacation clothes that is color and letter coded? :confused3 C'mon, someone fess up!
Now that might be going too far...;) But I woudn't want you to be any other way!

Here's my dilemma.... do I buy more stuff or do I just use what I wore last year?
That's a tough one. Maybe just buy a few new things, to get that "I'm going on vacation and want to wear somehitng new!" feeling?
Everything's in perfect condition, I even have 3 pairs of shorts I didn't even wear 'cause they were too tight! I bought them as an incentive to lose weight. Yeah, it didn't work! :lmao: But, I have lost enough weight to fit them now! :woohoo:
 :woohoo: :yay: You go, girl!!!!!

I feel your pain. BUT, finding the right one made it all worth it!

:rotfl2: Know what my birth control is? (Okay, aside from there being no potential Daddy on the horizon  ) Looking at pics from when I was preggo. That woman you saw? That was me. Well, not literally, but that's exactly how I looked. Gained 65+ pounds, feet swelled so much I couldn't walk more than 20 feet, sciatica for 5 months..... nope, never again, thank you very much!

All I have to say is...

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!!

I had a woman stop me in the mall when I was expecting my second and she said "Oh huuuuunny, please tell me ya'll are havin' twins?"

Thanks.

A bunch.

He was a solo.

And 9 pounds, 11 ounces at birth.

I feel for that woman in BRU.

And congrats on the shorts fitting:banana:

Woman, you're just as bad as me!:lmao: I have several drawers set aside just for my Disney clothes. I do have some shorts from '04 that I've only worn at Disney that dont' fit yet hopefully will. I say if you want to get yourself a few new outfits, go for it! I know I am.;).

Tracy - you've outdone yourself. That last installment was hilarious. :lmao: :rotfl2: That poor woman in the store - I mean, yes, it's heartbreaking but also really hilarious. And I dunno what I'm laughing at - I'm still trying to shift those baby pounds :rolleyes1 and my youngest is 3 :lmao: Let's face it I still need to shift the ones from my first pregnancy in '94.

I had a woman stop me in the mall when I was expecting my second and she said "Oh huuuuunny, please tell me ya'll are havin' twins?"

 How insensitive! When I was pregnant with my youngest, 'Garth' was 6 going on 7. We had a few people over one night (my brothers, SILs etc) and I told them I was pregnant. Garth said "isn't it cool?! Now we know why Mommy has that big belly." There was an endless awkward pause afterwards as everyone knew that I was only 9 weeks gone.  :rotfl2:

I do believe you may be the only one with a clothing spreadsheet--sorry!

I usually just add to what I already have, then mix and match new combos.A few new shorts,skirts,sundresses,tank/cami tops, maybe some golf/polo shirts, and ALWAYS new swimsuits and shoes/flip flops/espadrilles/sandals but no crocs for me. I just havent brought myself to do it.
I even have 3 pairs of shorts I didn't even wear 'cause they were too tight! I bought them as an incentive to lose weight. Yeah, it didn't work! :lmao: But, I have lost enough weight to fit them now! :woohoo:
You go girl!!good for ya.
I will need another *gasp* bathing suit. Ewwwww!!!
I devote an entire day with no kids just for this. It is hard to find but so worth it when ya finally hit paydirt!!

Sounds like my DS1.I love the chunky monkey baby fat, I am always biting him.
Ok, :offtopic: sorry. So, DH and I have been debating whether or not to have a 3rd child. I am so torn.
We are having the same debate, I LOVED being pregnant and having the babies..but just not sure. I too am sooooo torn. DS1 will be 2 July 1st. Those baby days are going quickly.

I don't have a Psycho T spreadsheet, but we have color days: Lime green day, red day, blue day, stripe day, etc. Does that count? Do I get to join the Psycho Club? I want to be Agent K! :cool2:

65+ pounds!!! :scared1: On you're little frame??? Oh my!! My body loves being pregnant. I only gained 12 with Maddie and 7 with Evan. I had enough fat reserves for my body to use, thus my weight gain was minimal. I'm not sure if that's good or bad? :rotfl2:
OMG did you and V discuss the duel shopping/clothes posts tonight?
I just realized that! Our ESPN was on HIGH! :woohoo:

I had a woman stop me in the mall when I was expecting my second and she said "Oh huuuuunny, please tell me ya'll are havin' twins?"
Awww!!! :lmao: Sorry, Sharkb8! :grouphug:

Thanks, Deb! I got a kick out of it too. I really felt for her and her DH didn't look like the sympathetic type!

Out of the mouths of babes! :rotfl2:

I do believe you may be the only one with a clothing spreadsheet--sorry!

You think?? Or maybe I'm just the first one out of the closet! :confused3

I devote an entire day with no kids just for this. It is hard to find but so worth it when ya finally hit paydirt!!

I'm thinking a neck to ankle scuba suit is in order this year! :lmao:

:cloud9: I hear ya! Evan insists he's still "da baby"!

Close enough, Agent K!

Hellllooooooooo!!!! Miss me????:confused3

OMG - the ESPN was CRANKIN' between you and V, huh? Wow - the shopping pre-trip is just maddening, isn't it? I'd wear the stuff from last trip - save the spending money for the parks. Besides...don't forget...Lapu's are like TWELVE BUCKS...

We pause for a mental math moment....TWELVE TIMES TWENTY-ONE...ummm...let's see...carry the one...:confused3 Um...I got nothin'...but it's a lotta lettuce babe!:rotfl:

Man, I've missed you guys while I was gone. Now that my family has left, I'm recovering and hope to start my pre-trip soon. As soon as I sober up, anyway!! Tough being picked apart from 2 sides for 8 days straight. But like I told V, nothing a trip to the pharmacy and the liquor store won't cure!!:lmao:

And you had me :rotfl2: at the preggo lady in BRU...DON'T DO IT...save yourself!!! Man, you couldn't PAY me to go through pregnancy again...I don't know how much weight I gained - and TRUST ME - it was more than 12 pounds, but I looked - and felt - like a sausage stuffed into a hot dog casing!! There's a mental picture for ya!!

Anyway, gotta run, but wanted to say hi and that I'm back!!! Chat at ya later!!

65+ pounds!!! :scared1: On you're little frame??? Oh my!! My body loves being pregnant. I only gained 12 with Maddie and 7 with Evan.
Thanks for rubbing it in! J/K I know - I really started out trying not to gain too much, but A. thanks to the sciatica I couldn't do much to exercise and B. DS made himself comfy in about 25 pounds of fluid in there. No joke. I came out of the hospital 30+ pounds lighter and DS only accounted for just under 8 of those!

I just realized that! Our ESPN was on HIGH! :woohoo:
:cool1: We were on FIYAH bayby!

I'm sorry to interrupt this TR for this question:

But...what is a Lapu??? And, if it's delicious...then where do I pick one up??? ;)

Ooo, ooo, ooo, can I jump on this one???!!

The Lapu Lapu is THE party-in-your-mouth adult beverage at the Poly, served up in a pineapple and complete with an umbrella and fruit garnishes. Nothing says "I'm on vacation!" quite so well as a Lapu Lapu.... or two :thumbsup2

I'm sorry!!! LY,MI!

GROSS STORY TIME:
Everyone gather 'round..... So when I preg. w/ Evan, apparently my fluid sack was blugging outta my whohaw, that's how much fluid was in there! So when the Dr. went to induce me and break the sack to get labor going, it squirted out like an elephants trunk! All over the room, all over the Dr., it traveled up the bed and soaked me from the chest down. It was classically hilarious! The Dr. looked at the nurse and said, "Clean this up" and walked out of the room! Poor nurse!! :lmao:
