Mentally Preparing: A Focker, A Croc & Waldo hit POFQ! Trip Report Link is UP!

Bwahahahah!!! :stir:You guys have no clue how terrible this kid can be. :lmao: We have such a hard time disciplining him because he make he eyes look like Puss In Boot from Shrek, and says "I'm soooo sowwy mama!":headache:

Evidence, huh Pjv.... here you go. This was taken 3 days ago. He found a bottle of baby powder and decided to decorate the house with it. :scared:

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Ok these are things my DS1(will be 2 in Jul) does, anything and everything he can get into he does. Its so HARD not to laugh out of control, especially when you get those eyes and frown. Sorry for you but glad to see mine arent the only ones being "creative"!!!The other day we had really warm weather and DS1 got the hose and almost put it in DH's convertible(top was down!!!) before DS4 swiped it from him in the nick of time.he did get the seat wet. All he kept saying was tubby, tubby(for bath). I guess he wanted to wash the car!!!Not so funny...

OMG - Evan is TOO cute...can't wait to take a bite outta him in August! pirate:

The "baby powder incident" is awesome! Love the look on his face...priceless!! At least that stuff is generally easy to clean...I remember a few years ago Michael took this huge economy sized tube of Desatin and decided to "clean" his racecar bed with it...The big blue car was now a big, greasy white car...Michael had it all over him, it was on the walls of his room...what a nightmare...

I freaked...no - wait....I FREAKED out...and did ya know that if you use a wet paper towel to clean up a mess like that, it just gets greasier? Water and Desatin DO NOT MIX. REPEAT...DO NOT MIX.

It took me DAYS to clean that up...

UGH...

Memories....like the corners of my miiiiiiinnnnnnnddddd.....:lmao:

Oh and loved the video too...VERY cute!!!

TRACY! You've done it now! :3dglasses Now that I know you can take video and post it on YouTube, I expect a full video report of your upcoming WDW trip! :3dglasses I want to see the Limetastic DIS'ers in action! :thumbsup2 Just how many Lapu Lapu's can the gang drink??? :dance3:

Evan's such a cutie! I love 'em at that age, but they are a handful! The picture of his baby powder art is a classic! You have to save that and show his first girlfriend! (I've had a lot of fun already showing Conner's girlfriend his baby pics! )

Take care,
Michelle

And, that baby powder is just his way of expressing his creative side. ;)
Yeah, when he was done, I expressed my creative side! Naughty chair FOREVER!! Bwahahaha!! Just kidding.;)
Like the baby powder could help him vanish or something:rotfl:
I think after the look on my face, he was hoping he could vanish. I had serious "angry eyes" on.
I love how you took a photo before you cleared it up  I've got a similar one with DD and a tub of sudocream (diaper rash cream) where she smeared it all over her face! Trouble is trying to keep a straight face!!!!
Not me. :sad2: That photo was taken by The Enabler. She veered toward the "he's just being creative" side real quick. Grandmothers, I tell you!:confused3

HE PULLED A TINK! :lmao: How fun was that? Bet that room smelt baby fresh clean for a while!
Gotta tell you, Lil'l Diz Man was looking over my shoulder when I pulled that one up on the screen. He said...where was I mom? What did I do?
I guess he sees himself in your lil'l guy.... awwww cute!:cloud9:
I was sitting in the office and Evan was in the den and I started to smell something. I peeked out the doorway and saw a white cloud coming down the hall and I knew exactly what he had done, once I recognized the baby fresh smell! :lmao:
I have to agree with Lil'l Diz Man, he and PrincessV's Leo both have a striking resemblance to Evan. I think it's the big brown puppy eyes! :goodvibes

Oh no!!! Not the car!!! :car:
Not laughing is the HARDEST part! :rotfl:

:headache: Doh! Maddie did that once. She found the sunscreen and covered her body with a 2 inch thick coat of it. Face and all! When I put her in the tub, the more water I added, the worse it got! Had to bathe her very carefully in diluted Dawn dish soap! :lmao:

Oh yeah!!! I'm sooooo videoing the Lapu party!!! Hey! Only 19 more weeks!!:lmao:

Thanks Michelle! :goodvibes I've got quite a few good ones to show future girlfriends! :ssst:

Even though I succumbed to the fact the free dining would not be had by the Fockers, the Waldos and the Ducks, I still had to call my TA this morning for one last ditch effort. I thought long and hard about it. How about we just make up 2 ressies? One from 8/21-8/26 and another from 8/26-8/30? I would adjust our first package to a 9 day ticket and purchase 1 day tickets for the 2nd ressie! I don't really need free dining. I WANT free dining. Something free is being offered during my stay and it's absolutely killing me not to take advantage of it. :headache:

My TA doesn't get into her office until 9am and that would push us to 12pm Orlando time. Hmmmm... not good. Well, it's a long shot. I emailed her at 7am this morning and get a phone call from her 30 minutes later. I have a three-way with WDW Travel and my TA. At best doing a split stay saves us a measly $180 per family. Forget it! It's over..... No free dining for you!:confused3

I hang up the phone only to find Waldo sitting right next to me. I look at him and he starts in with "That darn Donald, it's all his fault we don't get to eat for free! Let's just ditch him and change our dates to mid-September?!?" Waldo is adding fuel to my fire.... "Back off Waldo, if we really wanted to go in September, then we would have booked Sept. We're going on a nice family trip and I'm not cutting anyone out." Nope, Waldo can't let it go. He keeps on and on about missing free dining and how I should have insisted on September dates from the get go. Oy vey!! Let it go, Dad! :sad2:

All morning I've heard nothing but complaints from Waldo. Somebody slip him a mickey. And not of the Mouse sort......:rolleyes1

UP NEXT: SO REALLY YOU DON'T BUY A NEW WARDROBE FOR VACATION?

DMamma,
I feel your pain! :sad2: No free dining for us as well! :sad1: I was hoping and wishing! But no luck!

Tracy, forget the Mickey - how 'bout 21 or so Lapu Lapus?? I'll Google you a recipe!... :surfweb:

 If it's any consolation, Free Dining will never be in my cards, either. The savings doesn't compare to an AP rate. I KNOW, it's not like I'd be gaining any fabulous cost savings, but there's something so magical about the word "Free" when use din conjuction with the word "Disney", isn't there?

/
Just remember Tracy if you went in September with free dining you would miss meeting all of us, that's worth far more than free dining :lmao:

Sorry to hear your missing free dining. Its funny when you dont want or need it but you know its there and you are so close it makes you want it even more. Kind of like a big sale at Neiman Marcus that you just missed, you dont need anything(cause you were just there for the 3rd time this week) but somehow your upset that you missed out...I hear ya!!
Tell Waldo the club just called and they're waiting for him to golf, he better get there before they start without him!!

Hey Tracy! I was thinking of you when the free dining bedlam started on the codes and rates board yesterday. I knew you'd said it didn't matter but I also reckoned part of you would be screaming to be in on it. Cause I know the feeling. I was very flustered last August when Disney released a great code for the values/mods for October/November and we already had our accommodation sorted. I was so happy with our plans and yet, it was killing me not to be able to take part in the deal. :lmao:

Look at it this way - your first 5 days will be so great cause there's bound to be very low crowds. They'll all roll in on 26th but by then you'll be well into the swing of things. :woohoo:

So glad The Enabler is on the mend. ;)

Oh, and Evan, my God he's so adorable!!! :goodvibes

So, what are your August dates?

Really? Please do.... I could use a Lapu right about now! :drinking:

Oh, that's another sore spot. WDW AP's. When we went last year, I told DH, "Hey, let's upgrade our 6 day Park Hoppers to AP's, then we can get AP rates for our vacay next year. And SURELY we'll be back before the 12 months is up!" He didn't go for it, so now he's really kickin' himself in the rear! :lmao: Next time, I bet he listens!

Just remember Tracy if you went in September with free dining you would miss meeting all of us, that's worth far more than free dining :lmao:
Honestly Jo, you guys are the MAIN reason I'm not changing my dates! I don't want to chance messing up our NIGHT-O-LAUGHS & LAPU'S! :grouphug:

Tell Waldo the club just called and they're waiting for him to golf, he better get there before they start without him!!
I finally had to leave the house for a few hours. He kept grubbling about it forever! Yup, I drowned my sorrows in a Black Forest milk shake at Ruby's! Sorry, V!

I KNOW!! It's so hard to watch a great deal stroll on past you! Well, there's always next year!

So glad The Enabler is on the mend. ;)

Oh yes... I forgot to tell everyone.... SHE'S COMPLETELY HEALED!! IT'S A MIRACLE, A MIRACLE, I TELL YA!;)
Oh, and Evan, my God he's so adorable!!! :goodvibes
Thanks Deb! I like him sometimes, too. :rotfl:

I'm torn.

Can you believe the frenzy around FD? I know it can't work for me this year, but I'm already finding myself looking at 2008 calendars to try and determine what the start date will be for next year. It's a sickness. Maybe I need a Claratin. Or a chicklet.

Glad the Enabler is well. :goodvibes

Why not go for it...? Is there no availability at your POFQ? I am sure once you checked in they wouldn't make you move rooms. It works to their advantage to not, no cleaning from top to bottom needed. I know I am adding fuel to the fire...but I would go for it... But I'm a deal hunter! I hunt them down!

So Pjv, this question has caused some major drama. What I failed to say correctly is: By switching to a dual ressie, all the adults would save $90. It would actually cost ME an additional $15 per child, for reasons unknown. Thus my net savings would be $90+$90-30=$150. The Waldo's would save $180 and the Ducks would save $360 ($90x4). Now personally, if I was saving $360, I would do the split stay. Fo shizzle!

The Enabler is paranoid that somehow the Ducks ressies will get screwed up and then everyone will blame me. She has a valid point, however, we will get everything faxed to us from our TA within hours of the change and any mistakes would be taken care of immediately. So what's the problem, right? :confused3 Well, the problem is The Enabler and her paranoia. :headache: The Ducks are coming by tonight so I can explain to them what could happen. :teacher: They will have to check out and then check back in. They may get put into another room, away from ours. They may have to wait for said room. They may not. :confused3
Can't wait for this pow wow, it should be good! popcorn::

Any thoughts???

So, what are your August dates?

My family and I will be there August 17th-23rd! And we can't change due to hubbies job and the kids start school early this year the 27th! I am so bummed! :sad2: I really hope they come out with something for us earlier August peoples!

OY. Sorry, I can only think of one thing that might help...

A brandy sniffer of shaved ice. It won't taste the same without shaved ice.

A splash of simple syrup. (available at "Smart and Final")

A splash of orgeat syrup. (also available at "Smart and Final")
This is what gives it that Almond flavor. Amaretto is a nice substitution.

A splash of passion fruit syrup. This is what makes it different from a Mai Tai. (Usually available at "Smart and Final")

Two shots of light rum.

A mixture of 60% pineapple juice and 40% orange juice. (instead of orange juice, try tangerine "Naked Juice" from Trader Joe's)

A floater of dark rum. "Myers" dark rum is not dark enough. Use "Whaler's" (available at Trader Joe's) or "Trader Vic's" dark rum.

:drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1

Here's hoping it went well! Fill us in soon popcorn::

Oh little did you know by posting this that you are also helping ME..:woohoo:
A big  to you Princess V. On a day when we are stuck in the house and the kiddos are being the lovely "angels" that they are, and the end of the day when daddy comes home from work and starts his fatherly duties cant come soon enough....oh yeah, this is gonna help big time--Thanks
(no flaming, i will wait to drink this yummy cocktail AFTER daddy arrives home)

How'd it go last night?

My vote is for free dining and everyone splits the difference equally per person. That way you earn your keep for all of your hard, hard work! You deserve it! Did you ask them to explain what costs you $30?

For sure pull out all of the stops with V's concoction (sp?)!
