Ok I figured since there was a PMS thread this would be ok to post. Is there anyone here that is going through menopause without HRT and have found something that offers some relief?
I had a total hysterectomy 5 years ago and due to family history with strokes they would not put my on HRT. Last week my doctor informed me for the first time that because I am only 33 I could be going through this until I am 50/55 years old. No one told me I was going to go through 20 years of menopause when they were telling me I needed surgery!
When I thought there was an end in sight I was dealing pretty well with it but I can't go another 20 years without a full nights sleep sweating like a marathon runner. My doctor was no help so I am just wondering what has worked for you?

I am pretty good during the day, but as soon as I go to sleep it starts. I don't want HRT because I am afraid of the side effects.
