If it hadn't been for the red button (and the advice on the top secret thread which shall remain nameless which was not divulged to DH prior to the trip), my score would have been pitiful. As it was, I beat my husband soundly the first time through, which of course meant we had to ride several more times until he beat me. I seriously considered letting him win once so we could quit, but each time we would get on, he would tell me that if I let him win, he would kill me. I guess he knows me too well.

Thanks for all of the great tips. He absolutely could not believe my score was so much higher than his. I am usually terrible at that kind of thing. I wish I had a picture of the expression on his face when the ride was over and he noticed the scores.

I think in the interest of fairness, I will show him your thread before our trip next year (first trip to US for our kids). That way, maybe we will both beat our DS11 .

Just got back and I beat the pants off my DH He was gutted!

and keep your finger on the trigger at all times. no need to "reload". That's my weakness; I don't keep my finger on the trigger. But I do PRESS THE RED BUTTON at the end (most of the time it works, but sometimes it doesn't [I have been the victim of a non-functioning red button before]).
