I'm having trouble finding where to purchase Memory Maker in advance for Disneyland. Does that even exist any more? One of the photo packages (Capture Your Moment) says that if you have Genie+ you can download all images for free. I'm assuming that's Genie+ with Memory Maker, and not that Genie+ gives me free downloads. Even if it did, I have Oogie Boogie Bash nights where Genie+ isn't an option, so I need Memory Maker to get those photos. Any ideas? Clicking the links to Disney PhotoPass send me to the site to download the photos I have already taken, or to purchase gift items made with photos.

ETA: I am able to find info on PhotoPass+ One Day, but I want all the days of my trip, not to have to purchase each day through the app each morning.

Genie+ does include PhotoPass at Disneyland. If you purchase Genie+ for the day, I believe it should still be valid for OBB for the photos. Usually it is good for the entire day until midnight. I have never been to OBB so someone else can comment but I thought that PhotoPass pictures were complementary at those type of events. There is a PhotoPass one week I believe. However, I think it is cheaper to get Genie+ unless you are staying 5+ days.

Correct. IF you attend the event, pix taken during the event are complimentary. You do NOT need to purchase Genie+ for the party pictures.
Taken from the DL site:

  • Commemorative Keepsakes
Receive an event guide and unlimited downloads of Disney PhotoPass digital photos taken during the party. (Event guides are limited to one per ticketed person.)
  • Scan your event admission ticket into the Disneyland app to access Disney PhotoPass digital photos captured during the event. Photos can be downloaded from your Disney account as often as desired, up to 45 days after initial capture.

Genie+ comes with photopass included. I have no idea what Memory Maker is tho.

It's a WDW thing. Last time I used it, it covered about 30 days worth of PP and anyone who was attached to my account (not just scans from my account like at DLR for my old PP benefit on my Sig+). My friend didn't realize this and purchased some photos with her mom (both were CMs at the time) after I left even though I could have given them all of them for free. But I was able to give them the ones they didn't buy at least so they had the full set.

Hence the high cost. It covers a lot.

DLR does not have Memory Maker. You can only get PP by day, by week, G+, or special event tickets.

The "capture your moment" thing is a somewhat pricey mini photoshoot (that PP CMs used to do on their own anyways at no extra charge) that does not include the photos taken. They have to be purchased and Disney pushes people to purchase G+ to get the included photos.

You should be just fine with the event ticket PP benefit. In the past it's covered the whole day.

You can also purchase any day of your trip after the fact if for some reason it didn't cover prior to 3pm. You don't have to prepurchase. There's a window of time after to purchase photos taken so you don't need to sweat it in the mornings on days you don't have event tickets.

What want is PhotoPass (which is the Disneyland version). You can buy it for a an entire week if you want to have your entire trip covered, or buy Genie+, or buy PhotoPass on the individual days you want photos, if there are only certain days you want photos. Here is a phone number for PhotoPass. They may be able to tell you how to purchase it in advance. (714) 520-7106
