So if you aren't wearing bands (because you are staying off site) does each person need to carry their plastic ticket with them? Like because they are riding different rides, for example, or are in different seats? It's using the RFID technology in the cards/bands, so those cards need to be on the person as well, right??????

As far as I understand the cards will not link automatically, just the magic bands. You would need to take down the number of your photo and ask then to link it at the desk nearby.
