Has anyone used Memory Maker lately? We purchased it for our 6 day trip in June and I'm just wondering how many photo ops you actually end up getting??

We just returned from a trip last week... I am a huge photo taking nut, but I decided to give myself the freedom of traveling in the parks without a camera. The Memory Makers worked great for us... Even when I wasn't on the ride, the teenagers swiped their magic bands, and I get great pictures of them on space mountain, Rock and Roll Coaster- even though I wasn't with them. The trick is to make sure you have the Memory Maker card linked to all of the folks you are traveling with. I went to a customer service CM to make sure it was correctly linked. I thought it was worth it.

Have fun

Close! The MM card can only be linked to one person and that person gets download privlidges. Everyone else has to be managed by that person or friends with that person and the "allow xxxxx to view and purchase my photopass photos" turned ON for whoever has the download privlidges. I know it seems like small distinction but it's little things people get tripped up on!

We arrived here yesterday at 3:00pm. As of this moment, we have 163 photos in our account. We have stopped a couple of times for photopass photographers. We've had some photos taken at restaurants. One daughter met the fairies in Pixie Hollow. One daughter was at the Bibidi Bobidi Boutique and the other got mermaid makeup at Pirates League. Those two events generated a ton of beautiful photos and I'm glad I wasn't stuck trying to choose 2 or 3 shots for a print package. We've got them all!

I don't feel like we've been making a big effort to get photos taken. For the events we have been doing, Memory Maker has been a good deal.

8 days 200 pics
Would have been more but we had so much rain we had DAYS where we didn't get any pictures taken

How do you get so many pictures? I'm currently trying to decide if I want to purchase MM as well. I honestly think 15-20 would justify the price since the photos are $14.99 individually, but over 100 seems like a huge number to me. I've counted maybe 15 places/rides/restaurants we will "naturally" get pictures. Do they take multiple pictures at restaurants? I feel like we'd spend a lot of time tracking down photographers any place other than in front of the parks/Castle/hat/etc - is that the case? Will they take multiple photos/poses? We probably won't be doing more than 2-3 character meets if any, since my DS is only 14 months. Is that where you collect a lot of pictures? (Sorry, lots of questions, but I appreciate any response!)

I think the $14.99 is for Photopass, you choose what photos you want and pay for them individually. MM is different.

We have ordered MM for our July trip but we used Photopass + in Dec. We had lots of pictures taken. A lot of times the photographers will take 3-4 pics each time. So they add up fast. Also ask the photographers to take magical shots. If they don't have a tri pod with their camera they can do them.

We did photpass+, 8 days, over 500 pics.

So about how many did you get? 5 per day...?

we went last year for one day=-- got 77 pictures at MK before edits.

we went this past December and got 770 pictures for 8 days.

YOU have to be really proactive in looking for the photographer.

We are character people too so that helped out count
Once the photographer saw we purchased the photopass plus theysnapped away

If you purchase Memory Maker does the price also include the physical photos they offer when you have them taken at a character breakfast. Usually we purchase a set of photos from Ohana or Tusker House of the family, do you get these photos physically as included in the price or do you only receive a digital copy in your account?

My understanding was if you purchased Photopass you got these prints included in the price?
