I am the planner of our 75+ person family reunion in July at WDW. :scared: I purchased Memory Maker for the group, but have some questions about sharing.... Is there a limit on how many friends you can have in MDE? Since some of the group will be arriving before me, do I need to active Memory Maker early? By becoming friends in MDE and clicking on 'Share & View My Photos,' will that also include my friend's ride photos (or only if they have magic bands)?

If you are friends, and they are set to share photos with you, they will show up. Now keep in mind that you will need to be friends with every single one of them. If Mom X is a friend, but Daughter X isn't, and the pictures are on her band they won't show up in your account. I don't know of a know limit to friends, that would kinda defeat the purpose of the function. You don't need to activate anything as long as you purchased it at least 3 days prior to the first guest arrival. As long as the pictures are active in you account you should be able to download them. If you are worried, have one of the first guests arriving start an actual Photopass card, and add that to your account. That would appear that you were there, just not using your band. It should include their ride photos, but only if they have magic bands, or claim the pictures after the ride.

I would have everyone do a photopass card and turn it into you at the end of each day - then when your trip is over, you can load them all into the program and then be able to download all of the photos.

Thanks for clearing this all up! I appreciate the recommendations on how to handle this many people.

Wow! You'll set a record for most value out of MM!
The site does get very cumbersome and slow to scroll through when your trip is over and you're ready to edit and download your pictures - allow yourself plenty of time before your photos begin to expire (45 days after each was taken) to give you time to deal with a slow site and still get everything done. Do a download of one set of unedited photos before adding all the borders and stickers, so that no matter what, you'll still have one clean set.

Any time your group does something like Jedi Training or Enchanted Tales With Belle, you'll receive a Photopass card that has all photos of all participants of the show on it. Do NOT load this card into your MDE yourself. Take it to a Photopass shop (near the front of each park and st Disney a Springs) where they can quickly help you select only the photos of your own family members instead of all pictutres of all the strangers too. Entering the code yourself, you don't get the option of selecting certain ones. You'll already have so many photos because of your family size, you don't need extra shots of strangers too!

Anyone with a magic band should have their ride photos show up automatically, but anyone without a MB should stop at the photo screens at the end of rides to scan their Photopass card on their picture to capture it into your account.

You should tell family sub-groups to check the photos online periodically to make sure their photos are there. Allow a couple days, but if they don't show up there's a "report missing photos" link where you can tell them approximate day/time, location or ride, what the people are wearing and they're very good at finding missing photos. Likewise if a magic shot is missing the "magic" effects. As the organizer, there's no way you'd know what all should be there, but each family should know their own.

Remind everyone to stop at photographers often and get their MB or Photopass card scanned. Have fun!!

Out of question can I ask where you are staying? I think this is a great thing you are doing for your family.

Also- that many people and photos - I would have everyone give you a jump drive at the end of vacation to put a copy of all of the photos on - they run between 10-15 for a larger capacity one and that many might not fit on one CD

What a GREAT Suggestion!! I will deff do this next time we go! DH is always picked to be a knight at ETWB

If no magic bands you will not have ride photos. People who are riding the rides MUST copy down the ride photo number that you can input into the memory maker. I agree that if each person takes a photo pass card it will be easier in the end. Only those on YOUR mde will be able to get the photos. Kids can not be "shared" Only make the edits in the main account. That means every one gets to know your sign on information. Delete anything that is duplicated. That means if 4 people are having the pictures done-- all 4 will have that picture into the account. Seeing enchanted tales with Belle or Pirate tutorial or jedi training will get hundreds of photos of other peoples kids-- delete those off your account. The more pictures you get the more the system gets bogged down. Only do one download when you are finished. The more downloads you do the more zip files you are creating the slower it will work

Half is on property at POR and the other is off at various time shares. I'm trying to keep it simple by only having two organized activities - family dinner at Disney Springs and a private dessert party at Epcot.

My only major issue is Memory Maker, but I've gotten so many great recommendations. Thanks everyone!
