Memory Maker - What Do You Do With The Pictures?

Mainly they stay on the computer as family memories but I did have one really great family picture enlarged onto a big canvas and it is on our wall (I did this a few years after my dad died since it is a really nice picture of all of us). I do also use some of the really cute pictures on our WDW Instagram account.

I make prints & put them in an album with the rest of pictures I take from that trip. I do that with all my photos of everything. I was actually just telling my DH the other day that I felt like I was the only person to still put photos in real albums. Lol.

I make a photo book for each trip. I use Shutterfly and last years book had over 800 pictures. We have family photos and we love the magic shots through out the parks. We usually split the cost between to families so that helps.

If you use Shutterfly wait for their 50% free offer. Comes out all the time. I did a 45 page book for $128

In our living room, we have an "electronic" frame. We put photos on an SD card, and insert the card into the back of the frame. The "electronic" frame flips through the photos at the speed you select...we do 3 seconds. You can change SD cards or write over the current SD card for any event or trip you have photos. When I walk through the living room, whatever photo(s) I see, I leave the room with a smile or chuckle. Sometimes, I just stop for a minute or two to enjoy the slide show. P.S. I'm sure there is a more technical and proper name for this type of frame.

Mine go on one drive. Then if I want I can print them at walmart for super cheap, or maybe buy an electronic frame or whatever.

Use them on the calendar I make for other family members. Set them up as a scrolling screen saver on my computer. I also put the pics of me with characters in a folder on facebook that is shared with family members only.

And now that we have so many, I want to put together a book and call it Disney through the years with pictures of us and pictures I've taken in Disney for a our own personalized coffee table book.

My daughter has also requested that I do a smaller version of the book with pictures of me from my Disney solo trips. Apparently when one of her friends Mom's died they had a hard time finding pictures of the Mom. If I did this book, there would be a whole bunch of pictures of me in it and they wouldn't have to search hard for when that time comes.
Since I want them to have a party for me celebrating my life when I die instead of a wake, it would be fun to have that book out too so people could look through it and know that I had alot of fun in my life. I know this is probably a little macabre but it's just another use for the pictures!

I put them on a flash drive, take it to Walmart to get cheap prints made, and make a photo album. We have one for each trip we've done. The kids like to pull them off the bookshelf periodically and just browse through and remember their trips.

I am another one who uses Shutterfly. I love the photobooks, but I also like to do magnets and mugs. My BFF went with me for the first time in Dec 2015 (have been friends for 47 years!) so I had one of the puzzles made with a collage of 10 pics. One of my favorite things to do is use the pics for luggage tags. I used a pic from our December trip to make luggage tags for our trip the following March :) I use some pics in the calendar I make for my mom each year, and thanks to being able to download family and friends pics I was able to make some great mugs for my bro and SIL for Xmas. Most practical use was making a collage mouse pad. Gets used every day at work!

Just having them on the computer to browse through once in awhile, if that's all you do, makes the cost worth it, in my opinion.

People here keep referring to the disc, which no longer exists, from my understanding. All digital now.

My wife uses them all the time, we have a few Disney frames and she will rotate new pictures in. She has made me a couple coffee mugs with our family pictures from Disney on them. We have several shutterfly books. We send pictures of the kids to grandparents. My sister in law even made custom autograph books to bring back to Disney with pictures with the characters from the previous trip. We always feel like we get our money's worth, but now that they are included in AP, it's even better.
