Memory Maker--Water Mark?

There is now a watermark over all of my Memory Maker photos making them very difficult to preview. Should this be appearing in my photos if I pre-purchased MM? How do I remove it?

This didn't happen last year when I purchased MM.

Also, I noticed a few pics were missing--is there anyway that they can be recovered?

It's a new feature to prevent people from simply screenshotting their photos instead of downloading.

The watermark will go away once MM is activated when you download your first photo, and will stay away as long as your MM entitlement is active (30 days from first download)

In answer to your second question, yes they may be recovered. Send an email to the address listed on the web site (I think you can call too, but I had good luck doing it by email). Give as many details as you can: tell where you were, date and approximate time, number of people in photo, even brief description of what you were wearing.

It took a day or two, but we recovered a couple missing shots that way. I was very impressed!
