Memory Maker VS Photo Pass+

hello. i'm staying offsite so no MDE. just wondering how will i add pictures from other members of my party if we are not together at one moment. Does it work like last time, entering all the pp card numbers in one account? Thanks in advance.

Question from a confused customer...

I prepurchased PP+ for our Jan trip. I think that I just want to keep it instead of returning it and buying memory maker. Can someone clarify that the only things I'm missing out on:
-ability to share with friends/family on MDE
-multiple downloads

I also thought I read somewhere about guests using their MB for pictures. Is that possible with PP+ or just memory maker?

Just an FYI from my personal experience...
I ordered Memory Maker online last week for my January 3 trip. The website was glitchy, so I had to call technical support to get MM linked to my MDE account. No big deal, it works now. Then yesterday, I received a Memory Maker card in the mail (not a PP+ card--Memory Maker). Basically it will serve as backup if our MagicBands don't work, but since MM is only linked to my MB, I think I will have my DH carry it in case we are separated and he wants a ride photo or something.

Thank you for sharing. I read somewhere you get a card. I'm so relieved to hear they mail it to you. We arrive late the first night and have and early ADR in the morning. I'm glad I don't have to run around looking for the place to pick it up.

Lots of good stuff there including how family & friends works (although I'm still unclear on that ) and you have to make one person in your party the "owner" of the MM entitlement.

Attraction & Dining photos are still included, though you will want to review the list.

For attraction photos, the person who is the owner of the entitlement has to add to the account within 24 hours of riding. It's addressed in the FAQ.

From what I can gather after speaking to WDW on the telephone, the only difference is NO CD because it's all digital downloads and NO printed photos from dining to take with you after your meal but dining and ride photos are still added to your Memory Maker account.

Thank you! THIS is what I was looking for! We do a lot of character dining so for it to be worth it for me I wanted to make sure these pictures were still included. I'm assuming if I download the pictures I can put them on a flash drive, right?

Yes. You can put them on whatever you want.

Can someone walk me through this? I am traveling with a large party. Half of the people are in my DVC villa, so I am managing all of their reservations under my login. Would their photos be automatically included in my Memory Maker photos if they use their Magic Bands? The rest of the party is in a second room on-site (I am linked to the DH's MDE account) or offsite (I don't believe they currently have a MDE account). Would I be able to share the Memory Maker with either of them? Thanks for helping out!

Memory Maker is only for those linked on your account, so if they are under your login you can like them all.

She said that if we manage their account then we could see and download their photos.

1. Once we download the photos, we can have them printed off somewhere? (i.e. submit online to a photo processing center)

2. I have two trips planned within two weeks of each other. Would I need two separate memory makers packages?

You can link your MM to your MB now. There is a 12 digit confirmation number listed in your e-mail from MM. You can use that in ME to link MM to your profile. You'll still need to pick up your card at Will Call when you arrive at the parks. I linked my MM with the confirmation number to my account, because my SIL arrives a week ahead of us, and I want their pics to show up on my account (if SIL is reading this, it's all set up! ).

Somehow MM has escaped me up until now so I'm trying to get smart on it. Several months ago I preordered the original Photopass so I have a credit for that on the photopass site. I had a previous trip planned but it has been rescheduled for spring. After ordering original Photopass I decided I wanted Photopass+ and had planned to upgrade from original to +, but I haven't actually done it yet. Can I still upgrade? Would it be an upgrade to Photopass+ or to MemoryMaker?

our photopass cds have usually been three or four discs. Do you have to dowload each picture individually (we've had like 900) or do they a zip file of them all together?

Thank you!!! I see it on my reservations page on the bottom. It shows my name and a confirmation number. It also gives me the option to view and download the photos, obviously its empty. Is that all i need to do? aside from picking up the card at will call? also Can I add it to the rest of the families bands so if we are not together all the time?
