Memory Maker, Staying Off Property, No Magic Bands

Purchasing MM but staying off property and no Magic Bands...what are the limitations on my MM options? I know I can get a Photopass card or use my park ticket for individual photographers but what about ride photos? How do I get those? And are the ride videos exclusively for those with Magic Bands?

some rides have a booth you can stop at and add you photos to your MM. Other(s?), like 7DMT, do not, and you need a MB to get the photos. If I were you I'd buy one $12 MB and attach it to your account, it makes MM so much easier.... and you'll get all the ride photos without wasting time!

Thanks. That's basically what I was understanding by trying to read bits and pieces of blogs, but I wanted verification.
