Memory Maker start date question

We have a family trip coming up at the end of Oct and have Memory Maker for it which is linked to my MD# account. The family are all part of my family and friends.

However, I have a few days at WDW coming up in 2 weeks. If I understand correctly as long as I don't download any of the videos or ride shots etc. then it will not "use" the Memory Maker? And then it can be used for our Oct trip? I just want to be certain that my Sept trip won't trigger it's use or do I need to contact someone to remove it until after that trip?

We have a similar situation - a trip starting Aug 29th and a second trip starting Oct 21st. If I download my Aug trip photos no later than around Oct 9th (approximately) then I will have 30 more days in which to add photos. That will cover both our trips.

I was able to use Memory Maker for two trips earlier this year - one in Jan and one in Feb. it worked fine.

The photos you take will be viewable for 45 days. Once you actually download a photo for the first time, your Memory Maker will kick in and last for 30 days.

You'll have to time it right, but you should be fine. Just make sure you start downloading before your photos expire at 45 days. Sounds like you can probably download your photos in early October (which will start the MM 30 day timer), then download the family trip photos when you get back at the end of October.

Thank you Wood Nymph and Jarmo! How interesting!! I never would have thought it could work that way. It's very good to hear that my Sept trip should not cause a problem with the Oct and that if there are any interesting pics from my first trip that I could tack them on to the same Memory Maker.
